We built a dedicated team of payroll experts with deep knowledge of diverse systems, configurations, and edge cases to take that manual workload off our customers’ plates. By internalizing this expertise, we relieved our customers of a significant cost center, allowing them to redirect resources towards enhancing their core products and user experiences. This approach enables us to offer a truly end-to-end solution that leverages both fully automated integrations and assisted integrations. We apply assisted integrations to access data for edge cases, long-tail providers, or systems lacking APIs altogether. The user experience is nearly identical, and both maintain seamless connectivity with minimal effort on the employer's part. At Finch, we recognized a common pain point among software vendors: the manual effort required to access employer data from HRIS and payroll systems that don’t have an accessible API. These companies had teams of 20-30 employees who were manually downloading data from these systems of record, standardizing its format, and uploading the information to their own software systems. To address this, we built an in-house team of payroll experts who leverage scripts to pull the relevant data from employers’ HRIS and payroll systems, standardize that data, and make it available via the Finch API. We refer to these assisted integrations as Finch Assist. Finch Assist relieved our customers of a significant cost center, allowing them to focus on their core products and user experiences.
