On the back of our success in providing our software to legal claims teams in the U.K, Australia and U.S I’m pleased to announce that we recently completed an investment from Mercia Equity Finance, which is part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II (NPIF II), and Mercia’s own funds. I am very grateful to many people. It takes obsession from a few people, the patience of early investors and customers, and then maintained effort from a dedicated team to build a Software-as-a-service business which is now as successful as ours in solving proper problems. We are now providers to market-leading claims firms Leigh Day in the U.K and Maurice Blackburn in Australia and assisting an increasing number of smaller and larger claims firms internationally who are putting our software alongside case management platforms to deliver better client care and help them generate more fees, more efficiently. This is vital in an environment of capped or percentage-based fees, and increasing overheads. We will grow to 55 people by April 25, and now accelerate our core mission to improve how claims teams communicate with and gather information from claimants, and then manage and payout claims. I’m most proud of two things that I love about our business as a human and a business person: The work our team has diligently completed on helping law firms help real people, and that despite what the SaaS industry would consider nominal investment, still solidly tripled or doubled annually recurring revenues (ARR) every year by providing real value. This gave us tremendous optionality around a path of organic growth vs investment to scale faster, and I was delighted that Chris Borrett at Mercia provided terms that I was keen to accept. https://lnkd.in/eYHJND69
