Fire Investigator Tip: Capture the full story in your photos. When documenting a fire or explosion scene, start snapping from the unburned areas and work your way toward the most heavily affected spots. This approach ensures a more comprehensive visual narrative, assisting in a thorough investigation. Every photo tells a piece of the story - let's make sure it's the whole story! #KnowledgeThatSavesLives #FireInvestigator #FireInvestigation #FirstResponder

🌟 Versatile Photographer Capturing Life's Moments from Weddings to Movie Stills 📷 Passionate Vlogger & emerging Actor 🎬 Crafting Visual Stories That Resonate 🔥 Embracing life to the full inspired by amazing people 💖
I managed to capture some spectacular film footage during high tide in my hometown, Cromer! Strong winds whipped up a ferocious yet fascinating display of nature's power. Initially, I was on a photographic assignment, but I quickly realized that it would also make fabulous video footage. As a solo shooter, I relied on two camera bodies and seamlessly switched between them. Debris was flying around, so I knew it had to be a handheld operation, utilizing my body and nearby railings for support. There was a rhythmic procedure for determining where the waves would crash next, so I memorized and counted in my mind, positioning myself accordingly. It's crucial to emphasize that I strictly followed safety procedures accumulated over the years. This is not a scenario where you should attempt selfies on the promenade. I also maintained a safe distance, which might not be apparent in the footage, thanks to the use of appropriate lenses. Wearing a high visibility jacket is advisable, with a zipped pocket to keep a fully charged mobile phone accessible – you never know when it might be needed. Under no circumstances should anyone venture out alone at beach level, even if there's a long stretch of sand. I still vividly remember being cut off by the tide many moons ago, and it's an experience I'll never forget. By putting ourselves in danger, we also risk the safety of those who attempt to rescue us. The cold is often overlooked, but it's as menacing as the waves. In freezing temperatures, the body can only endure so much. During this shoot, I made sure I was within walking distance of a warm café and split my filming into three stages because it was that cold. Whenever I felt my fingers going numb, I'd retreat to the café and resume after warming up. #safetyfirst #stunningviews #stormy #filming #andreasyiasimi

Arty types, how comprehensive is your reference gathering phase? Do you not proceed to the next phase, until you have found a photo of every possible variation of the subject? Do you sometimes trust your memory of the subject sufficient enough to skip reference images, entirely? Or is it both, or something in between? Be honest, now. 😄
