Riveting words from Councillor Brittany Robertson, BSW, MSW of Doig River First Nation today as her community breaks ground on the first urban reserve in northeastern BC! Thank you for having our President & CEO Bill Lomax in Fort St. John as our bank supports this economic driver in the region. Special “beaver tail” shovels were used for the event, made by Pasqua First Nation-owned and FNBC-client Pro Metal Industries Ltd. A nod to the Nation’s history when it was known as Fort St. John Beaver Band.

Good fit for FNBC, Fort ST John is a gateway to the North in BC , like Constance Lake First Nation is in Ontario.
