I created a poll earlier today, go find it in my posts and respond to it Over the last couple of years I have had people ask me before what resources are out there to learn more about buying and operating RV Campgrounds. Truth is, there isn't much available Beyonder Holdings is working toward becoming THE resource for that information We are making steps toward creating a platform to ask questions and network with other operators, take classes and provide training and resources for managers, etc. This is why I created the poll. I can really use your help and support to determine if there is enough interest to create a mastermind specifically for Outdoor Hospitality (RV Campgrounds, Glamping, Marinas, etc) Please comment below (and respond to the poll) on what you would want to learn from such a mastermind. Tag anyone you know of who is in the RV/glamping/marina niche who may be interested in joining or even possibly contributing. At Castlegate Education a lot of what we do is work which is confidential. It’s either due diligence or business development, and that takes time. I’m about to take my twelfth flight of the year to a “secret location”. At this point, we don’t know whether the result will be a successful establishment of a UK brand abroad or not. It depends on the people we meet, local market conditions, and the strength of the opportunity. Even great opportunities sometimes don’t come to fruition just because the parties’ values, expectations, or timescales aren’t aligned. We shake hands and walk away. But without the travel, looking people in the eye, resources deployed, and time building relationships, there can never be success. Here’s hoping that this flight brings that return on investment- a successful project. But also, think on this - if the trip makes us reassess, redefine, delay or even discontinue because we did the proper due diligence ….it has still been a successful mission.

Motor Vehicle technician (mechanic) at Donnington race track in the Midlands. That's my first proper job anyway. I did some washing up/ delivering newspapers etc part time before that. Q. What made you join Bill's? A. A role became available in Exeter, which was a place I’d always fancied living. After the first interview, I could tell this was the right business for me. Over 10 years ago now…. Q. How do you motivate yourself every day? A. Having the opportunity to positively impact the course of the business/ the 2000+ people that work within it is more than enough motivation to keep me on my toes…(it’s a bit scary if I’m honest). Q. What makes you happy at work? A. In my role, most things take time to come to fruition. So seeing positive cultural change, typically over a period of time, is something that always makes me smile. Q. What advice would you give someone looking to start or grow their career? A. Don’t be fooled by what you see on social. It’s never as easy as most suggest. Put in the hard work & remember, any role in leadership is a servant role. We’re here for our team & guests & NEVER the other way around.
