I look at this post and some comments. And I believe many people commented on bad faith. I do believe before following the wave and spit on the post with your comments, It would be good to at least do a little research about: -the institution itself (is it a non-profit or a for-profit). If a non-profit, -it is grant funded or relied on fundraising? -how does their financial projection look like (previous tax report-can be found here: guidestar.org or irs.gov) -headcounts And so on… from there you could make a solid case and comment. Also, many people out there are looking for higher level title in their resumé to step up in their careers. That might be the best job for them. Please, as most of the bad comments are from recruiters, I do believe you could just reach out to the person who made the post and ask questions. Also, many of you here are not even replying to your email to support people on job search if not getting paid, please do better. Stop being hypocritical.

Everyone should mind their own scope of work. Director or owner of the company is not necessarily a great HR. I do not remember ever any Director or owner of the company cleaning their office. They are sure this job is best done by cleaning ladies. But when it comes to recruiting, here we go again - "Recruiter/HR has no clue, why should we hire/listen to them". Director knows best. And process of finding right person becomes endless. It really stretches for years. And director is upset, and team who needs new members is upset, and candidates have no idea why they are rejected and it just never ends! Guys, let us all mind our own scope of work. It will definitely not make things worse.

Good morning, I strongly believe that people working in HR have to reconsider how they consider the process of hiring someone is done. If someone works at a company a year or 2 and then moves on to another company every couple of years this is a person even if they had the credentials I wouldn't hire. However, if I had someone who works at different places for 3 plus years and doesn't have all the credentials I would be more likely to hire them because they are loyal and teachable and willing to to help and be successful. The bigger picture is I don't see people being taught or educated on the job but thrown in and haveing to figure it out. It shouldn't be acceptable to the person being hired as this can lead to failure. However, it shouldn't be failure on the employee but the employer. I also believe that if you all work for the same company their shouldn't be any separation with in the organization. It should be a team effort because this will ensure everyone will be successful while understanding what others actually due with in an organization.
