{{{ Monday Moves }}} During summers, our bodies try to cool down through the natural process of sweating, which in turn can cause dehydration. This makes it essential for us to drink more water, as less water content in the body can lead various ailments. #mondaymoves #mondayvibes #dehydration #hydration #water #health #drinkwater #hydrate #stayhydrated #healthylifestyle #wellness #healthy #skincare #selfcare #dehydrated #electrolytes #hiking #running #travel #camping #rehydrate #cycling #office #yoga #kidsbottle #travelbottle #runningbottle #runningwaterbottles #motivationalwaterbottle #cyclingwaterbottle #travelwaterbottle

Staying active is essential for good health, and summer is the perfect time to get moving. Here’s why: ➡️ Enjoy the Outdoors: Take advantage of the warm weather and sunshine. Outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, and biking are great ways to stay fit while enjoying nature. ➡️ Boost Your Mood: Physical activity releases endorphins, improving your mood and reducing stress. Exercise in the fresh air can make you feel even better. ➡️ Vitamin D: Spending time outdoors helps your body produce vitamin D, which is important for bone health and immune function. ➡️ Social Activities: Summer is perfect for group activities like sports, outdoor fitness classes, or simply walking with friends. Staying active can be fun and social. ➡️ Variety of Options: The warm weather offers a variety of activities that aren’t available year-round. I don’t have a morning routine where every day I… ⏰get up at 5:00 am 🚿take a cold shower 🧘♀️meditate 🏃♀️exercise My routine varies with the seasons. In autumn, I find it much harder to keep so active as the days get darker and shorter. So I am... 🚶♀️going for a quick walk in the middle of the day, even if only 5-10 minutes 🤸♀️going to the gym instead of jogging 🧘♀️doing more yoga 🎨meeting up with friends and going to art galleries at the weekend instead of cycling I know winter is around the corner, and I will change my routine again with more weekend days out skiing and even fewer jogs if there is snow and ice.…. A daily routine is great. BUT I prefer to maximise the joys of each season and change to have time out in daylight. You could call it a seasonal routine. What about you - are you a daily routine or a seasonal routine person? #DailyRoutine #SeasonalRoutine #SelfCare

Ever wondered what could supercharge your morning routine? Let’s dive in! 🏋️♂️🏊♀️ Here’s why this powerful combination of gym followed by swim is a game-changer, I feel : Enhanced Muscle Recovery: After an intense workout, swimming acts as a low-impact activity that helps in reducing muscle soreness. The water's buoyancy supports your body, easing the strain on joints and muscles, and accelerating recovery. Improved Cardiovascular Health: Combining gym and swim sessions maximizes your cardio workout. Swimming increases your heart rate and boosts cardiovascular endurance, helping you stay in peak condition. Mental Clarity and Stress Relief: The rhythmic nature of swimming, combined with the endorphins released during a gym session, promotes mental clarity and reduces stress. It’s like a double dose of mental wellness to start your day on a positive note. Increased Calorie Burn: By following up your gym routine with a swim, you engage different muscle groups, leading to higher calorie expenditure. Boosted Energy Levels: The refreshing sensation of water invigorates you, providing an energy boost that lasts throughout the day. It’s a great way to shake off any lingering fatigue. Give this dynamic duo a try and experience the holistic benefits of combining gym workouts with a morning swim. Your body and mind will thank you! 🌟 #MorningRoutine #GymAndSwim #FitnessBenefits #HealthyLifestyle #MentalWellness #CardioWorkout #MuscleRecovery #EnergyBoost #swim #swimmer #pool #summer #triathlon #fitness #water #running #beach #sport #swimbikerun #love #nature #swimsuit #swimlife #training #swimmers #sea #travel #cycling

Founder and CEO of ROAR Forward. Former President/Publishing Director, Hearst Magazines. Bestselling Author of ROAR Into the Second Half of Your Life.
Lately, I have been entertaining the concept of "exercise snacks." 🌱 Small, daily movements are a key to longevity and an enriched healthspan. Whether choosing stairs over elevators, taking a leisurely walk, or doing quick squats, every bit counts. My mantra? Integrate fitness into life's layers, aiming for activity five days a week. This month, from skiing in Santa Fe to evening hikes, I've lived this mantra fully. Remember, it's never too late to start. Begin with exercise snacks and expand your routine from there. #ExerciseSnacks #ROARforward #LifeLayers

Sat Nijjar working the kettlebell slings/chains 'movements', which will also help with his new year ski trip(s) - The body really is a complex system made up of many chains. These chains, when they are working well, help us move better, produce more force, and create more speed. However, when there is a weak link in the chain we often don’t address the chains, but rather the muscles and a very general movement pattern. Hence why Sat is also now pain free 💪 Therefore, we're not in the gym everyday weight lifting in the general traditional sense working each body part in isolation.(usually adding to imbalances that cause pain) Just because you have strong individual muscles, doesn’t necessarily mean your whole body is strong, often disproportionately strong muscles end up working against you. This is what we mean by real 'usable' strength (agility is more usable than brute force alone) and that's why this is incorporated within our balanced 5-pillar routines over a week of wellness training.. (So, do we have to make these routines more sports specific? NOPE) Due to that cross over benefit to everyday activities (or sport) which is why all of these guys are building and sustaining a strong athletic agile fully functional (movement) pain free body for all year round not just for the activity (ski) holiday or those transformation 'pictures' why these busy professionals like Sat are ready for their activity/events, like climbing & skiing, 365 days of the year, we just throw in a few fun extras as demonstrated.. Learn more about why the 5pillars and why this system is different: https://lnkd.in/gvdkeQ-Z #backpain #fitness #facts #functionalfitness #health #movement #painfree #ski #weightmanagement #wellness
