Our team and community @ The PMDD & PME Empowerment Programme is supporting the @IAPMD - International Association for PMDD & PME in the wonderful work they’re doing. We’re proud and humbled to say that as a group of almost 30 people with PMDD and PME from around the world joined our multidisciplinary online programme in the last 3 months, we were able to make a donation of $450 to the IAPMD. It is Giving Tuesday today. Can you help? You may have seen that IAPMD is returning for a second year with the Skip Your Coffee campaign. The idea is to donate what you would usually spend on a cup of coffee, or if you're able, cups! As a nonprofit organization, donations are how IAPMD funds the great services they provide to those who are living with premenstrual disorders. Of course, not everyone drinks coffee, or buys themselves a store-bought cup. And of course, not everybody can afford to make a donation. Courageous Parents Network began as a pilot born of one parent’s commitment to palliative care and to help parents benefit from the lived experience of other parents who had come before. The pilot worked! But while digital allows us to do a lot, we have also learned just how important the voice of the parent ‘in person’ is. To help more families and scale our impact, we need to train more parents as Champions: to advocate among clinicians and patient organizations for the family experience and for palliative care. 🌟 Grant Spotlight: $5.8 million to MiracleFeet to scale up treatment for clubfoot and monitor its program. MiracleFeet is different from most programs we fund because it involves treating a physical disability rather than implementing a preventive health program. We currently estimate that this program is close to our cost-effectiveness threshold, and we hope that we’ll learn more and update our views as a result of this work with MiracleFeet.
