Head Of Engineering at Bosch Global Software Technologies

Had a short but interesting discussion last week with Marius Dupuis from ASAM - a standardization organisation driving a few quite important standards -, the hexagon team, and the #ADAS team working with me here at Bosch Global Software Technologies. Context was standardized data-flow, in particular with respect to Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop #SiL, #HiL for Driver Assistance and Automated Driving business. The trend towards highly modularised SW stacks is accelerating in ADAS. Typically many teams work together from various partners, with the need for fast-paced feedback-cycles being in place across multiple companies. In such an environment, open standards become an important enabling factor to shorten initial alignment, strengthen re-use and make Continuous Integration on Complete Software-System Level feasible. #CICT #DevOps

Interesting endeavor, and an actual challenge to solve. Are there links to possible standard drafts to look up where it’s heading at? Thanks for the initiative!
