Gresyl and Jeff Yepez are both nurses who were able to buy a family home through the Hometown Heroes Program. “Having your own home when you are starting a family it’s a really great help because you get to have that space that you can raise your child and not worrying about the environment.” https://lnkd.in/gQEtYZTS The Hometown Heroes Program was created to help Florida’s workforce purchase a home in the communities where they work. Community support workers. Reintegration workers. Registered practical nurses. Child and youth workers. Housing stability workers. All these community health workers are the backbone of our health care system, providing a range of services that either keep people out of hospital or that are simply not available anywhere else. They deserve to be compensated fairly. If we don’t act, the staffing crisis will result in reduced services, longer waits, and more unneeded emergency department visits. #CloseTheWageGap #ONHealth #ForUsForYou

Pennsylvania RNs will be split into two groups and will either need to renew their license by April 30, 2024, or October 30, 2024. LPNs will need to renew their license by June 30, 2024. A nurse needs to be a master of balancing responsibilities. One task that you can’t forget is renewing your license. RNs are required to complete 30 contact hours of continuing education from a board-approved and ANCC-accredited provider (such as Nursing CE Central). Two of the 30 contact hours must be on child abuse recognition and reporting. LPNs will only need to complete the 2-contact hour child abuse recognition and reporting course. Read our full article for details on all of the most important renewal information you need to know, such as your renewal deadline, continuing education requirements, and what you must do if you miss the renewal deadline. https://hubs.la/Q02lcY8B0 #RNs #pennsylvaniaboardofnursing #nursingceus #lisencerenewal #ceu

We're working with several clients in the nursing space. Why is that? Why NDIS property investment? It's because nurses, who work in the hospital system, understand that NDIS participants should be in a purposely built homes to cater for their needs. They shouldn't be placed in the hospital system. Many nurses are considering investing in NDIS properties and managing themselves - creating an investment coupled with a business venture. #agenzia #propertyinvestment #investment #australianproperty #australianrealestate #Sydney #melbourne #brisbane #adelaide #perth #NDIS #ndisprovider

Affordable Housing & Inclusionary Zoning Advocate. Exclusionary Zoning was the cause. Inclusionary Zoning is the cure. Zoning is the foundation of housing.
Frontline workers are being priced out of the housing market as the cost of buying a home or renting a property spirals to unprecedented highs in Queensland. Most nurses, police officers, childcare workers and teachers can't afford to buy or rent on their own in southeast Queensland, based on their income and the median price of houses and apartments.
Buying a home now 'beyond hope' for essential workers
