The inaugural Reindustrialize Summit being held on June 25-26 @ Newlab Detroit @ Michigan Central in the City of Detroit will convene 500 leaders to propel innovation in American manufacturing. Happy anniversary to the #CHIPSandScienceAct! For two years, the #CHIPSandScienceAct has exemplified bipartisan collaboration, bold U.S. leadership, and brought about millions in investments. But there is still work to be done to ensure the law continues to strengthen the U.S. innovation economy. This anniversary presents a unique opportunity for the U.S., the birthplace of #semiconductor technology, to return its attention to advancing implementation of this critical effort. The Information Technology Industry Council (ITI) new memo offers an overview of the law's progress since enactment and outlines specific calls to action for the U.S. Congress and @The White House. ITI is calling for continued investment in manufacturing, research and development, workforce initiatives, and industry collaboration which are essential if the U.S. is to reinforce its global leadership in semiconductor #technology.
