CNBC has ranked Florida's economy as the strongest in the nation for the second consecutive year in its latest 'Top States for Business' report. The annual CNBC America's Top States for Business report just came out and Virginia came out on top once again. This is the sixth time Old Dominion has taken the #1 spot. Criteria included quality of infrastructure, workforce, economy, quality of life, cost of doing business, technology & innovation, and business friendliness. Virginia scored in the top ten within three of these categories and just missed with another (economy, #11). Other states rounding out the top five included North Carolina (2), Texas (3), Georgia (4), and Florida (5). The bottom five included Montana (46), Louisiana (47), Alaska (48), Mississippi (49), and Hawaii (50). https://lnkd.in/gNpy45Bd

Happy Monday All, Exciting news for Minnesota! CNBC's 2024 Top States for Businesses ranking just came out, and Minnesota ranked as the sixth best state in the nation for business. This marks the 9th consecutive year that Minnesota has landed in the top-10 in the U.S. The ranking is based on 128 metrics across 10 categories of competitiveness, highlighting strengths in areas such as workforce, infrastructure, economy, quality of life, and business friendliness. Minnesota's strong performance can be attributed to its excellent infrastructure, quality of life, and focus on technology and innovation. The state's economy is thriving, with unemployment below 3% and employment surpassing three million, exceeding pre-pandemic levels.
