The high cost of green hydrogen is the main obstacle to a large adoption of the clean fuel. Improving the electrolyser is one important task, many are working at this, but the whole process of renewable electric energy delivery must be improved. HyWaves DC-based architecture improves energy delivery efficiency, while at same time reducing cost and complexity in the system. Hydrogen startups see funding continue As the technology advances, the hydrogen economy will demand more cost-effective systems. "As it turns out, the cycle is not over. Rather, companies tied to low-emission hydrogen have continued to land big rounds for technologies tied to producing fuel and developing hydrogen-powered batteries and engines. "Per Crunchbase data, at least 23 hydrogen-focused startups globally have secured financing so far this year, bringing in over $1.4 billion in equity funding. "The companies, listed below, are targeting niches ranging from heavy-duty hydrogen-powered trucks to identifying and commercializing geologic hydrogen sources. 📃Another Official Patent Granting 🌱The Flower Turbines patent MPPT HIGH LEVEL CONTROL OF A TURBINE CLUSTER has now been officially granted as US patent 11,905,929. We believe that this is likely to enhance the performance of Flower Turbines in a cluster or bouquet by an additional 50% or more. We hope to be building systems based on this over the next 1-2 years. The concept is to apply the technology called MPPT (maximal power point tracking) to groups of turbines. In simple terms, it means that there is software that finds the best load and rotational speed to match a certain wind speed, and Flower Turbines has the patent to apply this technology to groups of turbines, not a single turbine, as is currently done. The software finds the parameters of best performance for the turbines as a group. This is a highly original and important patent on coupling turbines electronically. It also applies to large wind and hydro. Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University alumni-founded venture, Hyperfuel Labs, has announced the launch of an industrial-scale testbed and an accelerator aimed at supporting hydrogen startups. The initiative aims to address challenges faced by pre-commercial hydrogen technologies in reaching the market, such as high capital costs, complex regulations, and uncertain demand.
