🌍 BLACK Paris Clichy becomes the first LCBI-certified building in France! 🏢✨ Located in the city of Ville de Clichy-la-Garenne the BLACK Paris Clichy urban campus, designed by ECDM Architectes developed by REDMAN and AXA Investment Managers Alts, and supported by Greenaffair becomes the first building in France and the third European building to receive the LCBI label. This label, supported by Association pour le Développement du Batiment Bas Carbone (Association BBCA) provides a concrete response to the challenges of uniformity of calculation methods on an international scale and promotes exemplary buildings with a low carbon footprint in Europe. BLACK Paris Clichy has established itself as an essential reference in carbon-free real estate. 🏆 What makes BLACK Paris Clichy unique : 🌱 A 50% reduction in the carbon footprint thanks to innovations such as wood-concrete slabs and an ambitious reuse policy. 🏙️ 9,000 m² of outdoor spaces, including a unique rooftop dedicated to urban agriculture, sport and relaxation. 🌍 Optimized use of resources, with hot water production provided by an urban network incorporating 30% renewable energy. ✨ An emblematic architecture with a Yakisugi wooden facade, treated using an ancestral Japanese technique, combining aesthetics and durability. Reflecting on Marmi Vrech’s evolving relationship with international markets following my recent trip to the United States. The post-COVID period has been particularly challenging in the U.S., where projects have been scarce. This was one of the key reasons for my recent visit (as mentioned in my previous post), and I’m now optimistic about the promising opportunities starting to emerge in this market. In contrast, France continues to be a source of great satisfaction for us, excelling in both the naval and residential sectors. It’s far from an easy market, with intense competition, but that’s precisely what makes our strong presence there so rewarding. From the refined residential projects of the Côte d’Azur to innovative collaborations in naval design, France offers a perfect mix of challenges and opportunities. New roof for National Maritime Museum. Willmott Dixon Interiors has installed more than 23,000 sq ft of sun-protected glazing, above the National Maritime Museum’s central court area. The £12m project is designed to address water ingress and reduce solar heat gain issues associated with the existing glazing of the Grade I listed building.
