At today’s Calcalist כלכליסט conference on food security, Dan Grotsky explained how mycorrhizal fungi are key to food security. The world’s croplands have become net carbon emitters with compromised fertility. Mycorrhiza has the ability to restore soil's role as a net carbon retainer - at scale. Crops grown in mycorrhizae-rich soils absorb more vital nutrients and maintain enhanced resilience in the face of stressors. The world is facing major food security challenges with a growing population and declining soil fertility. By regenerating soil with native mycorrhizal fungi, we bring life back into the soil and help guarantee food security for the future.
