Alongside other NC3 Board Members, Jenan Jondy participated in SuperCrowd24. Jenan is the REI Coordinator at MSU Center for Community & Economic Development and was on the panel titled 'How Higher Education can Support Small and Medium Enterprises.' At Comet-ME, we believe that energy, water, and the Internet are basic rights for all people, and no less for those living under military occupation. Area C of the West Bank, the agricultural heartland of a future Palestinian state, is home to about 180 Palestinian herding communities. Most of the area, however, has been allocated for the benefit of the Israeli settlements. Indigenous Palestinian communities face restrictions on land, demolitions, and military and settler violence, and are denied access to all infrastructure. Comet-ME has provided off-grid infrastructure and services 💡💧🛜 to these communities since 2009, serving 130 communities to date.
