È partita la sedicesima edizione di #Switch2Product, l’Innovation Challenge organizzata da PoliHub - Innovation Park & Startup Accelerator, Technology Transfer Office del Politecnico di Milano e Officine Innovazione di Deloitte che fa emergere e valorizza le più rivoluzionarie soluzioni innovative, scientifiche e tecnologiche e i progetti di impresa più promettenti di studenti, ricercatori, dottorandi di ricerca, docenti e alumni del Politecnico. È aperta fino al 29 maggio la fase di pre-application: i primi 50 team che completeranno il form accederanno ai workshop dell’Innovation Boost Program, il percorso che valuta il potenziale tecnologico e di business delle idee e aiuta a definire un piano di sviluppo solido e concreto. It was a true pleasure to extend the institutional greetings of Politecnico di Milano at the Green&Blue Festival. This event holds significant importance for us as it underscores the crucial role of the relationship between universities and industry in transforming ideas and research outcomes into innovation, fostering sustainable societal growth.   Politecnico di Milano promotes this vision through numerous projects and activities: from patenting to proof of concept (POC), from the PoliHub - Innovation Park & Startup Accelerator to the venture capital funds, and the collaboration with companies through 63 Joint Research Platforms. Moreover, the Innovation District at the Bovisa campus will be completed in the coming years, serving as a platform for innovation and a home for startups.   Despite significant progress toward fostering an entrepreneurial culture, data shows that in Italy, there is still a need to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset and culture, with only 16.3% of Italian innovative startups characterized by a predominance of young people. Therefore, it is essential to promote structured educational pathways accessible to all students to identify and enhance their entrepreneurial potential.
