Chief Executive Officer, Anthony Viljoen of Andrada Mining , discusses the “earn-in agreement” with Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile SA (SQM), one of the world's largest lithium chemicals producers. Shares ⬆️ 15% on the news. Watch the full interview ▶️ > https://lnkd.in/eHzeXieC Andrada Mining Limited (AIM: ATM, OTCQB: ATMTF), the critical raw materials producer with mining and exploration assets in Namibia, has announced it has entered into a “earn-in agreement” with Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile SA (SQM), one of the world's largest lithium chemicals producers. The Earn-In is a three-stage agreement for Andrada’s Lithium Ridge asset, which has a fully permitted mining licence covering an area of approximately 3,300 ha and hosts multiple pegmatites with mineralisation including lithium, tin and tantalum. Andrada believes it has a target there in excess of 40 million tonnes and upon execution of the agreement, SQM has committed to pay Andrada a US$2 million participation fee in the development of the asset across two tranches. In this interview with CEO, Anthony Viljoen, investors will hear: -Why Lithium Ridge is such an exciting deposit and what attracted SQM -What the rationale behind SQM partnering with Andrada on Lithium Ridge is -Why this asset is sitting on the Balance Sheet with a value of only $2m -Why an earn-in is the preferred route for developing the asset -Why approval from the Namibian Competition Commission should just be a formality -When the first earn-in payment can be expected -Why there is still lots of potential for upside in the resource -How the partnership benefits shareholders and Namibian stakeholders Chief Executive Officer Anthony Viljoen says; “earning in is the preferred funding route to develop the asset. It leaves a lot of upside for incoming investors and also for existing investors. We know where the mineralization is and how it occurs. The biggest unknown here is pretty much just how big the thing is really.” About SQM SQM is a global company listed on the New York Stock Exchange and the Santiago Stock Exchange (NYSE: SQM; Santiago Stock Exchange: SQM-B, SQM-A). This is SQM’s first investment into Namibia. Anthony Viljoen, Chief Executive Officer of Andrada Mining, was interviewed by Sarah Lowther for focusIR. Tavistock Zeus

Sonoro Gold Corp's Chairman John Darch provided key updates on the company's Cerro Caliche project and the evolving mining landscape in Mexico. The new administration is expected to adopt a favorable stance towards the extractive industry, bringing clarity to the sector. 'Mexico's mining sector has been unsettled by the former president's proposed constitutional amendment to ban open-pit mining,' Darch noted. However, the incoming government's appointments of moderates Marcelo Ebrard and Alicia Bárcena signal a positive shift. Sonoro Gold Corp's Cerro Caliche concessions are owned by the company, and any proposed ban on new open-pit concessions is unlikely to affect the project's future expansion. The 2023 Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) estimated the project's current resources could support an initial nine-year open-pit heap leach mining operation. With gold prices reaching an all-time high of $2,450 per ounce in May 2024, the project's potential economics have significantly improved. An internal review estimates that at $2,400 per ounce, the project's Pre-Tax NPV5 increases to $203.7 million with an IRR of 129%. #mining #gold #mexico #sonorogold #cerrocaliche @sonorogoldcorp

Minority stake acquisition elevates Andrada Mining to mid-tier miner status. WATCH; Anthony Viljoen, CEO, explain how the new ownership structure will accelerate development of its key assets in Namibia. Watch ▶️ https://lnkd.in/e3gURgDS Andrada Mining Limited (AIM: ATM, OTCQB: ATMTF), the technology-metals producer with mining and exploration assets in Namibia, is seeking to increase the ownership of its main operating subsidiary (“UTMC”) from 85% to 100%, through the acquisition of the 15% interest currently held by the Small Miners of Uis ("SMU"). Total consideration is to be satisfied through the issue of £0.5m of ordinary shares in Andrada, £0.78m in cash over 240 monthly instalments and the transfer of the Company’s 85% interest in license ML129, which is now non-core to Andrada, but regarded as a valuable opportunity for SMU to drive economic growth across the Erongo region in Namibia. Following completion of this transaction, Andrada will own 100% of UTMC, ensuring fair economic exposure to the development of the licenses in Namibia for all parties, further streamline operations for accelerated value creation and enable UTMC to apply for specific project financing solutions. Anthony Viljoen, Chief Executive Officer of Andrada explains: - Why the restructuring process took so long - How the restructuring will help attract strategic partners to Andrada’s lithium assets - Why the lithium assets may soon account for approximately 70% of the company’s overall revenues - How Andrada has become a triple asset developer, producer and cashflow generator - Why the company’s tin assets are so valuable and why the price rally in the metal will continue - The multiple revenue streams materialising from Andrada’s one mining operation strategy Viljoen commented; “We don't see this as a departure of our relationship with the SMU. In fact, if anything, it's strengthened our ties with them. It's given the SMU a renewed focus in terms of assisting us with our corporate social responsibilities and ensuring that our success on UIS is carried over to our other assets because a key part of this restructure is making sure that our entire portfolio realizes value.” Reasons to add ATM to your watchlist: - Andrada is a multi-asset, multi-commodity, multi-decade opportunity on multiple assets - Globally significant and JORC-compliant mineral resource estimate of 138 million tonnes - Open-pit mining, tin oxide coarse crushing, only being 230km from a port means low production costs and competitive logistics prices - Resource contains high purity lithium constituting of 0,73% at 1,45 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent - Andrada’s cash flow allows the company to develop its assets organically - The partnership with the Bank of Windhoek means the company doesn’t have to solely rely on dilutive equity funding for development capital berenberg Tavistock Hannam & Partners #ATM #Andrada #Mining #Tin #Lithium #Namibia
