Education is not a privilege. It is a fundamental human right. Yet, 120 million girls around the world are out of school. That puts them at an increased risk of violence, exploitation, and early marriage. We need to ensure equal access to education to achieve a better future for all. United Nations, Education is not a luxury; it's a basic right that can transform lives. Yet, with 120 million girls out of school, we face a global crisis. This lack of education leaves them vulnerable to violence and early marriage, robbing them of their potential. Ensuring every girl has access to education isn’t just about fairness—it's about creating a future where everyone has the chance to succeed. By prioritizing education for all, we invest in a brighter, more equitable world. Let's rally together to change these numbers and empower every girl with the opportunity to learn and thrive.
The stark reality that 120 million girls are out of school highlights a global crisis of human potential. Education is not just a right; it’s the bedrock of societies, the foundation of economic stability, and the key to unlocking every individual’s potential. When girls are denied education, they lose their voice, agency, and future. This perpetuates cycles of poverty, violence, and inequality, affecting entire communities. The consequences are severe: increased risks of exploitation, early marriage, and lives trapped in the margins of society. To address this, we must ensure equal access to education for all. This means tackling cultural, economic, and political barriers that keep girls from the classroom. Governments, NGOs, and the private sector must invest in educational infrastructure, provide financial support, and advocate for policies prioritizing girls’ education. Education is our most powerful tool for a better future. We must act now to ensure every girl has the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute. The cost of inaction is too great.
Good to know! The most important problem that needs to be addressed immediately in Africa in our opinion is rule of law. Africa is so lawless that nothing matters anymore until this abnormality is fixed. In many African countries, there seems to be a tendency for people wanting things for the sake of ‘possession’, as an end in themselves, rather than to utilize them as a means to extract additional or greater benefits. I have met many African officials, businessmen and rural leaders who would say that once they receive investments and factories, everything else will take care of itself. But in order to run a factory, people need utilities, management, maintenance, skills and capacities, funding, etc. Therefore, Welcome To The Future Of Democracy In Nigeria. Girls’ and women’s education also has the power to save lives, stimulating multiplier effects that reduce poverty, maternal and infant mortality, and early marriage.

Everything boils down to poverty in many homes and countries in the world. Also, discrimination in many families, even amongst the rich. Everyone should have equal right to education. It makes our world a better place. Couldn't agree less to this post United Nations. For us, we will keep making impact in our local communities and world at large. 💪

3moI was born in Saudi Arabia and my family emigrated to New Zealand so my sisters and I could go to school. We are a doctor, a lawyer and a quantity surveyor. It's crazy to think that we would not have been able to do this if we hadn't left - and sad that there are so many girls who don't have that opportunity.
