The Paradigm Blueprint: A Comprehensive Strategy The design strategy used by Paradigm for food factories is more than just a set of plans; it covers every step of the production process. The first step in the process is to thoroughly comprehend the particular requirements, objectives, and obstacles of the client. This serves as the structure for the overall design. Paradigm identifies chances for optimisation by meticulously examining each stage of manufacturing, from the input of raw materials through the packing of the finished product. They consider things like space usage, equipment placement, workflow effectiveness, and safety procedures. This exhaustive assessment serves as the foundation for a food plant that not only satisfies regulatory criteria but also goes above and beyond operational benchmarks. The benefits of partnering with an #ISO22000 certified cleaning company like Ecowize are substantial. Our ISO 22000 Certification provides formal recognition of our compliance with global standards such as FSSC 22000. Unlike guideline compliance, which is a self-declared state without third-party validation, our certification is externally validated by an accredited auditing body (BSI), giving our stakeholders complete confidence. Compliance means meeting minimum requirements, while certification allows for continuous improvement and promotes risk-based thinking. Partnering with us ensures you gain the trust of your customers, as we are always audit-ready and up to date with the latest requirements from our external audits. The ISO 22000 standard applies to all facilities and organisations involved in food manufacturing and processes, making Ecowize the ideal partner for your business. We are proud to remain the sole cleaning and sanitation company certified to this standard. Mark Sterling Charl Groenewald Sindiswa Ngidi #ecowize #ISO22000 #foodsafetystandard

During our Insights Webinar on the FSSC 22000 Additional Requirement on Equipment Management, we were asked how food equipment suppliers can be educated on hygienic design requirements, especially in developing countries with no legal regulations on hygienic design. To effectively educate food equipment suppliers on hygienic design requirements, particularly in regions lacking legal regulations on the matter, we recommend leveraging resources and training programs offered by reputable institutions like European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group (EHEDG) and 3-A Sanitary Standards, Inc.. They provide comprehensive training courses based on recognized training programs tailored explicitly to hygienic design principles, which can assist in educating organizations on hygienic design. EHEDG, in particular, offers training programs and guidelines that are widely recognized and respected in the industry. Their guidelines cover various aspects of hygienic design, offering practical insights and best practices to ensure equipment meets stringent hygiene standards. For a more in-depth understanding and practical application of hygienic design principles, we encourage food equipment suppliers to explore EHEDG's guidance catalog: https://ow.ly/CMwK50Rxi7t. #FSSC #foodsafety #FSSC22000 #GFSI #supplychain #equipmentmanagement #hygienicdesign #ISO #managementsystems #IMS #GFSI #certification

The Policy in the BRCGS Global Standards Beyond being a mere document affixed to a wall, Clause 1.1.1 is a profound declaration of a business's dedication to product safety and quality. It signifies a handshake between leadership and excellence, where actions speak louder than words. While all BRC standards share fundamental principles, the latest revision of the Food standard stands out as the most comprehensive, serving as a blueprint for future updates across all sectors. Let's take a closer look at this crucial clause. Imagine a policy, boldly signed by the top leader of your site, proclaiming an unwavering commitment to producing safe, legal, high-quality, and authentic products—the four aims that constitute the backbone of every BRC certification. However, a signed document alone isn't sufficient. This commitment must resonate throughout the organization. Integrate it into training materials, staff inductions, and internal videos. Demonstrate to your employees that this commitment is not just on paper but ingrained in the fabric of your business. So, how does Clause 1.1.1 translate into actionable steps for success? Let's explore the recipe for excellence: 1. The Policy Statement: This is not just another policy; it's a bold proclamation signed by the highest echelon of leadership. It personifies responsibility, emphasizing that excellence is an unwavering priority. 2. Effective Communication: Amplifying the Message: Don't confine the policy statement to a drawer. Let its essence permeate every facet of your organization. Integrate it into staff training materials, induction programs, and consider crafting a video message to underscore your commitment to quality. 3. Continuous Improvement: A Perpetual Flame: Clause 1.1.1 is not a stagnant document; it embodies a dynamic journey. Foster a culture where improvement is a constant pursuit, ensuring that every batch strives to surpass the previous one. This ongoing dedication is the secret ingredient for sustainable growth and excellence. And don't forget the latest addition to Clause 1.1.1, emphasizing the commitment to continuously improve the culture of the business. This is just the first serving in our BRC standards feast. Stay tuned for upcoming episodes where we'll dissect crucial clauses and explore the ingredients that make a thriving, compliant business. https://lnkd.in/eb4TQjV5

Helping B2B companies develop Traceability, Sustainability and Supply Chain Visibility capabilities with the MDB Traceability Framework.
One of the rewarding aspects of helping companies achieve #FSMA Rule 204 #traceability compliance are the, “Oh, that’s how we actually do it?” moments when leading them through a #Discovery exercise in one of their facilities. I’m just finishing up two weeks of conducting discovery exercise visits of two customers doing Food Traceability List (FTL) products. Often the warehouse manager and staff are quite aware of the various work-arounds that have been put in place over prior years to ensure products move rapidly and accurately. Senior leaders should join the discovery exercise to see what is actually happening, e.g., the amount of extra manual work, the additional opportunities to introduce errors into their #WMS and the bending over backwards to accommodate the complexities introduced by their suppliers. All of these negative aspects are highlighted when simply looking to ensure product shows up with #KDEs, are captured and stored, and can leave the facility with KDE's and a FSMA 204 Traceability Lot Code (TLC). The accuracy, efficiency and speed of product flow from manufacturer to retailer is something we take for granted. This is clearly not the case when a manufacturer looks only 1-tier back to their upstream. The speed is of course paramount. Efficiency and accuracy are lacking in almost all cases.
