This prestigious grant, awarded by the Department of Energy (DOE), recognizes WMED's commitment to advancing clean energy manufacturing in collaboration with key partners. The MAKE IT Prize, developed by DOE's Office of Technology Transitions (OTT) in partnership with its Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED) and Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), aims to promote domestic manufacturing of critical energy technology components while engaging communities to catalyze manufacturing activity at the regional level. 🌟 Harnessing Our Power: Networking Unveils Our First Cause 🌟 As the eclipse casts its awe-inspiring shadow today, let's ponder a different kind of power—not from celestial alignments, but from the connections we forge, the networks we build. It was through networking that we stumbled upon our first cause, a cause that ignited our passion and propelled us into action. Partnering with Camelot Community Care, we uncovered a staggering truth: 80 to 100 women aging out of foster care, standing on the precipice of adulthood with no safety net to catch them. But here's where the real power lies: in us, in our collective ability to make a difference. With every conversation, every connection, we harness the power to effect change, to uplift those in need, to be a force for good in our communities. Today, as the eclipse mesmerizes the world with its celestial dance, let's remember that the power to create positive change isn't bestowed upon us by the stars—it resides within each and every one of us. It's the power of compassion, of empathy, of taking action in the face of adversity. So, let's channel that power. Let's spread the word, ignite the flames of awareness, and rally together to support causes that matter. Because the eclipse may come and go, but our power to make a difference remains ever-present.Join us in harnessing the power within. Let's get active, let's make an impact, and let's create a brighter tomorrow—for ourselves, for those in need, and for generations to come.#PowerOfNetworking #MakeADifference #EclipseOfChange 🌟

"As we reckon with the legacy and unfolding harmful impact of dominant narratives, our narrative strategies need to be guided by a commitment to collective healing. Do we merely aim to tell stories about justice, or do we strive to ensure that the very process through which we craft and share narratives is itself just and healing?" - Luis Ortega Community, we invite you to delve into the latest edition of ThirdSpace Action Lab's The People's Practice. This issue not only explores these themes but also features an op-ed by our founder titled "Perspective in Place: A Call for Radical Reflection, Healing & Critical Hope." It's a compelling read that urges us towards introspection, healing, and the cultivation of critical hope through our narrative practices. Let's engage with these powerful ideas and contribute to shaping a narrative landscape that heals and uplifts. #NarrativeChange #CollectiveHealing #JusticeInStorytelling
