This #WorldOceansDay video highlights the beauty and fragility of coral reefs. As a scientist who focused on coral research during my PhD, I've seen the devastating impacts of warming oceans firsthand. The video highlights the incredible work of those fighting to save these vital habitats. But it is also a stark reminder that corals are just the beginning. They are our canary in the coal mine, warning us of the wider environmental crisis unfolding around us... We must demand urgent action on #climatechange, advocating for significant reductions in CO2 emissions and a rapid transition to renewable energy sources. The fate of coral reefs and the health of our planet depend on our collective #climateaction

Alternative narratives and metamorphic creatures are just some of the themes addressed in the "Fabulation" exhibition which opened on Friday 13 October 2023 at the Ex Macelli in Prato and saw the works of Simone Cariota, Maria Gomez and Miguel Justicia (Potro negro) on display. The intent of the collective is to immerse visitors in an uncertain and fluctuating place, exploring the potential of a possible alternative narrative through the construction of a space that involves bodies in listening to sounds and observing images not systematized. https://lnkd.in/dEbGVC26
