Reaching one million people aware, an achievable goal? 🤔😁 Last July, with Club Demeter, we set ourselves the somewhat crazy challenge of creating a Sustainable Logistics Fresque. We wanted to think of an awareness format, informative and fun, like the Climate Fresk, and anchored in logistical reality, to raise awareness and activate transformations throughout the supply chain. Thanks to the work with Club Déméter - Logistique Responsable, we have taken up this challenge: the creation of a training method which illustrates the different impacts of logistics on the environment, the climate, biodiversity, and vice versa! But it is also the way for anyone to discover, at their own level, the action they can implement for a more sustainable supply chain, to ACT (even when we are not responsible for sustainable development) ⏭️ Thanks to Lucie Aitsahalia, Sophie DANNEELS, Julien Darthout, Victor Rawyler, Gregory Debuchy and Eve Lafon for their hard work over the last 6 months 💪 The ecological transition is our common business. 200 people have already been trained thanks to the Logistics Fresque. A million is still a little far away, but we like to see far. 🔭 If you want to participate in one of the 3 fresco sessions organized during SITL, there are a few places left 👇🏼 👇🏼 (🇫🇷 session): https://lnkd.in/e-RvXF8z

A perfect product is natural inside… and out. With the tendencies towards a slower life and conscious consumption on the rise, we turn our eyes to fresh local products. With these tendencies, a concern is awakening in the packaging industry. Is it possible to have a natural packaging that does justice to the product it contains? We say yes. Discover the perfect packaging for what most (and best) connects us to the Earth: https://lnkd.in/d4fNGi6z

On #WorldEnvironmentDay we take a look back on what we have achieved in 2023.🙌🌱 Doing our part to help create a future worth living in is important to us. To address the pressing issues facing us today and pave the way for a more sustainable future, we created the Dr. Oetker Sustainability Charter – and thus set globally valid, ambitious sustainability targets for Dr. Oetker. In the dimension "Our World", we are actively committed to doing what we can to protect the environment and society.🌎 By using natural resources responsibly, we seek to preserve them for future generations. We work every day to achieve this by reducing CO₂ emissions, packaging, and food waste, using more sustainable raw materials, and creating deforestation-free supply chains, in order not only to preserve our living conditions, but to restore them if possible. A new program in 2024/25 - VinØ Carbon Action - will progress the Tasmanian wine sector's journey towards a net zero carbon emissions future, helping wine businesses measure, reduce and report on their emissions activities. Working with the ERC Protocol, Wine Tasmania's wine business members can measure their emissions profile, take steps to reduce emissions and communicate their commitments to all stakeholders. We have also jointly developed actions tailored to the wine sector.

JD Sauce Embraces the Future! Our team recently participated in an inspiring workshop focused on ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance), with a special emphasis on the environmental and social aspects. We discussed our current efforts and future areas for improvement. Where can we innovate and make a difference to create a more sustainable company? The day kicked off with an enlightening presentation by Lotte Kristiansen from Genfortæl, who provided us with engaging tasks to work on. This was followed by a fascinating tour of the Skanderborg Bunkers, where we learned about the town's history during World War II. After a break, we were inspired by Pernille Vistoft Elsner, CEO of Danhostel Skanderborg, who shared their journey to becoming Denmark's greenest hostel. Her insights were both motivational and encouraging. We ended the day with a delightful dinner and enjoyed watching some football from Euro 2024, giving us time to reflect on the day's learnings and bond with each other. This event has laid the groundwork for JD Sauce's first ESG report, which we look forward to including in the upcoming annual report. We aim to take ownership of future changes with consideration for our customers, suppliers, staff, the climate, and our social roots in the local community. A huge thank you to our dedicated staff, as well as to Genfortæl, Danhostel Skanderborg, and Museum Skanderborg for making this possible! *Note: The picture is an aerial view of the scenic surroundings where the event was held, near Skanderborg Lake. #ESG #Sustainability #Responsibility #Environment #SocialResponsibility

Start your journey towards a sustainability future now! We gladly support you in this pivotal transformation! #sustainablefoodroute #sustainability #sustainablefood #foodservice #esg
More than ever, making an impact within the food service sector concerning sustainability is necessary, relevant and increasingly common. In this four-part series, we talk to among others Schiphol, Plaswijckpark and Wouter Staal. They are all working in their own way to make an impact on food service. We ask them how they make an impact, what they see happening in the market, what the market needs to accelerate and how the Sustainable Food Route can help. This week part 2: Ans Westplate and Plaswijckpark. Ans Westplate has been a general board member for nearly five years at Plaswijckpark, a play park for children and their families in Rotterdam. The park has around 450,000 visitors a year and offers a place where children can romp all year round. Conceptional has been active at Plaswijckpark in 2022 with the Sustainable Food Route. Conceptional, together with We Design Food, mapped the current situation of the F&B offer and the organisation concerning sustainability. This resulted in a roadmap, ambitions, and goals. At that time Ans was involved as a board member and currently uses her intrinsic motivation to make Plaswijckpark more sustainable together with others.
