Newest issue of Lab Matters, APHL's magazine, is here! A burst of emergency federal funding during the COVID-19 pandemic allowed public health laboratories to upgrade, improve and invest. Laboratories modernized equipment, hired personnel, created more efficient processes, and expanded public health programs such as next generation sequencing and wastewater surveillance. But supplemental funding has begun to recede. The boom and bust cycle of public health funding is well known to public health professionals. Clinical Research Centres and Sites are often required by CROs and Sponsors to retain clinical data for long periods, even after the study has been completed. This represents an untapped market for sites to deliver additional value to their research partners, by providing Long-Term Digital Preservation in their GxP Archive. The potential value has not yet been realised. Read more in this blog article: https://bit.ly/485ZyGs #clinicaltrials #clinicalstudy #clinicalresearch #GCP #GxP #Archiving #DigitalArchive #RecordsManagement #NHS #SMO #SiteManagement
In our latest blog post, Arkivum's Sam Rolfe ☁️ discusses the opportunity for sites when it comes to record retention, and the challenges life sciences organisations face when storing their data for the long-term.
