How can the physical environment at our workplace be optimised to promote better health and well-being for our team? It was a privilege to be invited to share my expert insights at Jumeriah London this week, in an event for #GlobalWellnessDay. The responsibilities of Architects is immense and multifold, and often under-valued. Spaces shape humanity, and there is a power impact on everyone's wellbeing and happiness, which is the foundation for business and life successes. #JumerialHotelLondon #wellbeingDesign #𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐃 = #𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠+ #𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐮’ #𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞+ #𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 #FRVEN #HappinessCoachForArchitects

Thank you to Timothy R. Andrews for inviting me. And a great pleasure to share the discussion also with Alice Lightfoot and Gino. I shared and I also learned.

Frven, well said and I so agree. Efforts on improving the ‘back spaces’ do make a big difference to the mental well being of staff, and that translates to better outcomes. I have experienced the upgrading of industrial like control-rooms, through the touch of coloured panels, softer lightings and high quality wall feature spelling out the organisation’s mission, that transformed the mood of folks into where they felt a sense of heightened professionalism.
