THE WORLD’S FUTURE (PARTICULARLY THAT OF INDIA) WILL DEPEND ON ALTERNATIVE ENGINEERED MATERIALS/PRODUCTS—WOOD SUBSTITUTES/METAL SUBSTITUTES/CONCRETE SUBSTITUTES—Reducing Carbon ―――― LET US MAKE INDIA A TOP NATION, TOGETHER, IN UNISON—PVH—Motto ―――― #IndianDevelopmentChallenge #AgrobiogenicsTechnology #ZerowasteZerocarbonBusinessmodel #CarbonFootprint #CarbonSequestration #CarbonOffset #RenewableVegetationResources #SlashandBurnCulture #LinkedInMemberPVH #LetUsCombineforChange #ConversationsForChange #LinkedInForCreators THE WORLD NOW WASTES ALMOST 95% OF MOST MATERIAL RESOURCES 1. If we look at Renewable Vegetation Resources (RVR) that are either directly used by humans (for food, clothing, medicine, etc.), as well as those we consider as “weeds”, the WASTAGE is almost 95%—a Slash and Burn Culture 2. Take, for example, Sunflower farming. An average Ha can generate over 60 T of total Biomass/RVR, per Ha. The real produce may be hardly about 1.5 T. The wastage here will be about 97% 3. There are many RVR systems, such as the weed Parthenium, Water Hyacinth, and the superfast self-propagating creeper, KUDZU are 100% wasted—often destroyed, in the name of economic development 4. Every so-called development work (Airport, Roads, Solar Power, Windmill, and the various so-called Infrastructure) almost always begins with the destruction of RVR, converting the area into an artificial desert. 5. So too are the works involved in Mining, Metals Extraction, Cement manufacture, Steel manufacture, etc. 6. It is to be noted that an average of 5.6 T of RVR/Biomass balances each T of CO2 in the atmosphere. Thus, each 5.6 T of RVR destruction is the equivalent of One T of CO2 increase in the atmosphere HOW CAN WE CHANGE? 1. All the Human development activities must begin by growing RVR/Biomass 2. RVR must become the “central” resource system for: i Energy and Bio-Petrochemicals ii Engineered products/Alternate Engineering materials iii All waste conversions, that would stop further usage of depleting/fossil materials iv Recycling every engineered material system, such that there is a perfect balance of CO2 vs Green vegetation systems (RVR) v The entire human activities must fully align with the CARBON CYCLE YES, WE CAN AGROBIOGENICS TECHNOLOGY (ABT) is the answer, and we operate through ZERO-WASTE ZERO-CARBON BUSINESS-MODEL (ZW-ZC-BM). Such alignment will become CARBON CYCLE ACTIVISM, not only reducing Carbon Footprint but also generating Carbon Credits for the businesses involved Read: https://lnkd.in/gFM5KpyJ CONNECT here, to learn more HARIHARAN PV Scientist & Technology Development Engineer-Entrepreneur (DRDO AWARDED SCIENTIST) Author: https://lnkd.in/eJpniYZc Mail: hariharan_pv@agrobiogenics.com — pvhramani@yahoo.com Phone: 91 9241524685

Excellent step by IIT Delhi and Thermax towards sustainability. Methanol as fuel could be great for reducing CO and NOx as well. The use of M85 (85% Methanol by Vol) leads to a reduction of CO and NOx by about 25% and 80%, respectively. It can help in grappling with the alarming situation of high pollution in India. #Sustainability #GreenMethanol #BiomassToFuel #CO2Capture #Pollution https://lnkd.in/gzrCqnJV
