Orthopedic Surgery 🦴 Physician Assistant 👨🏻⚕️ Sports Injury Expert Consultant ⚕ Concierge Healthcare System Navigator 🎙️Fantasy Sports Injury Expert Podcast Analyst 🏀⚽️🏈⚾️🎾🏐🏑⛸️🥎🏒🥋🥊Podcast Network co-Owner
It happened again today. Someone thought they knew what would be best for a close family member, who was the injured individual. They convinced them to get temporary treatment so they could drive several hours home and be treated definitively for an injury that required surgery. 😳 While their intentions might have been good, their advice was NOT. As a result, this person whom should have had their surgery done right then and there, declined and made the trip back home. Now, as a result, because of their decision, two procedures will need to be done rather than one. This is most likely due to the delay from the initial treatment and time between their ER visit and outpatient follow up. This happens with sports injuries all the time. While the timeline may vary, I see the same scenario play out time and time again. Wouldn't you rather have someone in your corner looking out for your best interest who knows the field? Who does this every day? Who is aware of the minute details that could potentially alter the course of your recovery??? I know, in this world it can be tough to trust people you do not know. However, with the advent of social media and technology, now more than ever, you can have experts by your side with the click of a mouse button. Let ILP Sports Consultants LLC help you get through those challenges you might be facing due to athletic injury. Call today for free no commitment consultation.
