Research reveals that a staggering 50% of the women in tech drop out by the age of 35. Several factors drive women away from the technology industry, including gender bias, company culture, work-life balance and lack of mentorship. So what can we do, as an industry, to make meaningful improvements? 🤝 Promote diversity and inclusion. Encourage diverse hiring practices and create inclusive workplaces. 👩🏫 Offer mentorship programs. Support women in their career journeys with mentorship opportunities. ⚖️ Prioritise work-life balance. Implement flexible work arrangements to help employees manage their responsibilities. 🏢 Foster positive company cultures. Build a culture where everyone feels valued and supported. Although there are a number of initiatives ongoing to address this issue, there's still much work to be done to create a tech industry that is truly equitable. #womenintech #diversityandinclusion
