🚀 “How can technology contribute to improving motivation, personalized learning, and academic success?” - During the 2024-2025 school year, 10 educational centers across Catalonia, including public and semi-private schools, are piloting innovative digital solutions to address this essential challenge. Why did we choose this challenge? 👉 In 2022, Spain topped the early school dropout rate in the European Union, at 13.9%, which correlated with poor academic performance. 🤝 At mSchools and Mobile World Capital Barcelona, we are committed to addressing this situation through advancements in educational technology as a driver for innovation and a bridge between schools and #EdTech companies.👉 Our mission is to provide specific and effective solutions to the needs of the #EducationalSystem, ensuring the #safe and #healthy use of #digitaltools for students. These are the schools involved in the pilots: - Annie Advisor Pilot: INS de Gurb, IE Castell d'Òdena, CFA Arquitecte Jujol, Vedruna Prats de la Carrera, INS La Romànica, CFA VilaSeca - Nexes Interculturals‘ Pilot: INS Palamós, Vedruna Prats de la Carrera, INS Cristòfol Despuig, FEDAC Cerdanyola During the pilot phase, teachers will receive #support from the teams of the 2 winning proposals and mSchools Lab. At the same time, an external academic institution will conduct ongoing evaluations to assess the impact of the digital solutions and share the obtained #results and #learnings. Join the #mSchoolsLab community and follow the process in real time! ⏳ Register now (it takes just 1 minute) 👉https://bit.ly/3xnW0CT 👥 Are you part of the EdTech Ecosystem? 📢 On Tuesday, EdTech Lithuania Association members met with Nacionalinė švietimo agentūra Director Simonas Šabanovas, PhD and Indrė Šuolienė. During the meeting, we discussed how EdTech solutions can contribute to transforming Lithuania's education system. Our goals by 2030: ✨ Lithuania – one of the TOP 1 education systems in Europe. ✨ Development of a national EdTech strategy. ✨ Collaboration between the public and private sectors. ✨ Sustainable and strong growth of the EdTech ecosystem. 👉 What challenges do we face, and how are we moving forward? 👉 Currently, we encounter several challenges: the lack of a clear national EdTech strategy and goals, differing perceptions of educational innovation across institutions, and an undefined funding model for EdTech solutions. In response to these challenges, we will develop a clear and ambitious national EdTech strategy, promote pilot projects in schools, and strengthen a shared vision to make technology an integral part of education. 🚀 We believe that EdTech solutions can reach every student and teacher. Together, we can ensure continuous funding and growth for innovation. #EdTechLithuania #EducationInnovation #FutureOfLearning #EdTech2030 #TransformEducation #SmartEducationLT #DigitalEducation #EdTechEcosystem #InnovationInEducation #edtech

Partnerships are in the driver's seat of the Future of Education. The Future of Education Consortium (FoEC) is built on a collaborative ethos, bringing together a community of professionals focused on growth, partnerships, and tackling shared challenges. The Consortium connects EdTech innovators, educators, policymakers, and organisations to push the boundaries of education. The upcoming Future of Education Summit, on 5 December 2024 in Tallinn, Estonia, follows this same approach. 🔍 Insights from the EdTech Strategy Lab Workshop at UNESCO Last Wednesday, the EdTech Strategy Lab workshop at UNESCO headquarters in Paris brought together 140 participants from 30 countries, sparking inspiring conversations about the role of evidence-based practices in shaping the future of education through technology 🌍 The event’s themes resonate deeply with the challenges and opportunities we see within the Netherlands' EdTech ecosystem. Key insights from the discussions include: 👉 Fostering Collaboration Across Stakeholders: Building trust between educators, policymakers, researchers, and tech developers is essential for success. 👉 Turning Research into Action: Foundational research helps identify what works, while developmental research ensures EdTech solutions address real-world needs and scale effectively. 👉 Tailored Evaluations Over One-Size-Fits-All Frameworks: Effective EdTech evaluation requires understanding diverse needs and contexts. 👉 Aligning Research with Business Sustainability: Research should not only drive innovation but also support business growth to ensure solutions have lasting impact. These themes align closely with ongoing conversations within the Dutch EdTech community about fostering collaboration and building evidence-based solutions to address educational challenges. A huge thank you to the European Edtech Alliance for organizing such an insightful event. We’re excited to bring these learnings into future projects and continue fostering impactful partnerships. 🚀 It was lovely to see you there!
