In 2023, the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) in Dubai recorded the highest-ever private jet movements, reaching 16,657, which is an 8% increase from 2022. This growth is attributed to events like the Dubai Airshow, COP28, and the opening of the new ExecuJet FBO and hangar. The Al Maktoum International Airport, where MBRAH is located, is now recognized as the busiest airport for international business aviation movements in the Middle East.
Last year, MBRAH also made agreements with new partners to set up facilities for various aviation services, including manufacturing aircraft parts, painting, and refurbishing private jet interiors. The Aerospace Supply Chain at MBRAH, involving import, export, and re-export activities, is expected to surpass AED 8 billion in the coming years, highlighting the growth in maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities.
Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH, mentioned that the achievements reflect the trust and value offered by their modern infrastructure and facilities. MBRAH aims to contribute to Dubai's standing as a global aviation hub and continues to expand its offerings and partnerships.
