Reflux disease is a common condition, where the stomach contents passes back up into the oesophagus. Contents of the stomach (e.g. acid, pepsin as well as bile) escapes through a valve at the top of the stomach into the oesophagus (the tube that carries food to the stomach) and even into the airways. Peptest is an accurate, painless and inexpensive test that tells you conclusively if you have reflux.

https://lnkd.in/erAGC43v Think about this: Can benzoic acid become benzene? - The conversion of benzoic acid to benzene is a two-step process. - In the first step benzoic acid is going to convert into sodium benzoate and in the second step the sodium benzoate is going to be converted into benzene on reaction with water. In fruit drinks you already have sodium benzoate along with ascorbic and/or citric acid coupled with water. Curious? Why take the chance of consuming fruit drinks that could possibly convert its ingredients into benzene? Here's what benzene does: Benzene causes harmful effects on the bone marrow and can cause a decrease in red blood cells, leading to anemia. It can also cause excessive bleeding and can affect the immune system, increasing the chance for infection. #sugar #sodas

Dr Amir Khan GP on Instagram: "Pernicious anaemia Lets talk about pernicious anaemia Now, anaemia occurs when there aren’t enough healthy red blood cells to carry oxygen to our bodys organs. A vitamin called b12 is needed for the formation of healthy red blood cells – without enough b12 red blood cells die sooner than normal, leading to lower numbers and hence anaemia.
