Purposeful innovation: Behind closed doors with McLaren’s unrevealed W1 Supercar Last night in London, Patrick and I had the privilege of attending an exclusive event hosted by McLaren for the unveiling of their latest masterpiece, the W1 supercar. While we obviously couldn’t take any photos of the actual car you’ll have to do with my personal observation that the W1 certainly is an impressive innovative machine! Meeting fellow guests from across the globe, it was clear we all appreciated something beyond speed and luxury—it’s about authenticity, exclusivity, and owning something that reflects our unique journeys. This aligns perfectly with my personal vision that’s always driven me in our ventures, whether in telecoms or now in automotive; crafting personalised solutions that reflect individual aspirations. More simply put, focussing on the niches vs the masses. For those who love supercars and Formula 1 innovation and are fortunate enough to be financially secure, there’s probably no better way to celebrate that lifestyle than by owning, driving and simply enjoying this vehicle, impressively crafted to showcase individuality. Having just cash however is a necessary but not sufficient condition as, for vehicles like these, prospective customers need to pass certain criteria before being invited to actually purchase such a vehicle. And that’s totally fine, otherwise owning such a vehicle wouldn’t be special right;) I’m looking forward to the official W1 debut on 6th October and reflecting on how McLaren’s and other supercar manufacturer’s approach to exclusivity and innovation ties in with our own philosophy at AM Group Holding BV creating authentic, purpose-driven experiences that truly resonate with people. #Innovation #Exclusivity #McLarenW1
