When talking with clients about incentive compensation solutions, it is common for them to only use a small fraction of the capabilities. Mostly plan management. The hard stuff like importing and transforming data are managed outside the solution, significantly limiting the value of the solution. When I asked why this happened, it is almost always because they wanted to go live quicker and start getting value from the solution, so skipped the more complex portions of the implementation. The complex parts of the implementation are often what is required to realize the most value from a solution, so should be tackled when you have all resources aligned to the implementation. If you're going to make a big investment in technology, make the commitment to do the hard stuff early and realize the full value of your purchase. #salestech #revtech #revops #salesops

🚀 Launch day! Dynamic Cost Allocation has been a feature in high demand amongst Enterprise customers using Vantage and is generally available as of today. #FinOps analysts often need to break up joint, shared costs and proportionally allocate those costs out to various teams or services that ultimately are responsible for driving that shared cost. In many cases, these shared costs need to be dynamically allocated based upon another metric. As of today, Vantage now has this feature rolled out to all customers. Customers can easily define how they'd like to go about dynamically allocating costs and Vantage will do all the heavy-lifting on your behalf by allocating these costs out programmatically on an ongoing basis. This not only saves teams a tremendous amount of time for having to manage this manually, but also allows for more accurate reporting generally at the organization.
