Celebrating All Fathers on This Special Day Honoring All Fathers: The Heroes Among Us To all the incredible fathers out there, Happy Father’s Day! Today, we celebrate not just those who have had the privilege of having their fathers by their side but also those who, like myself, chose to rise above and become the dads they never had. Whether your father is no longer with us or if he was never present, today is a day to honor the remarkable men who have stepped up, shown love, and made a difference. To the fathers who have chosen to be present: You are the unsung heroes, the ones who have broken the cycle and created a new legacy of love, strength, and dedication. Your courage and commitment to doing better are truly inspiring. To those whose fathers have passed: Their wisdom, love, and guidance live on in your actions and memories. They may not be here in person, but their spirit and teachings continue to shape who you are. Here are four ways to make the most of this Father’s Day: 1. Reflect and Celebrate: Take a moment to reflect on the journey of fatherhood. Celebrate the milestones, the lessons learned, and the love shared. Whether it’s writing a heartfelt note or sharing stories with your family, let today be a day of appreciation. 2. Create New Memories: Spend quality time with your loved ones. Plan an activity that brings joy and strengthens your bond, whether it’s a family hike, a picnic, or simply a day spent at home playing games and sharing laughter. 3. Honor the Legacy: If your father is no longer with you, honor his memory by doing something he loved or something that reminds you of him. Light a candle, visit his favorite spot, or cook his favorite meal. Let his spirit be a part of your day. 4. Reach Out and Support: Remember those who might find this day difficult. A simple message, a call, or a gesture of kindness can make a huge difference. Let’s uplift each other and create a community of support and love. To all the fathers, mentors, and father figures – your role is invaluable, your impact immeasurable. Today, we celebrate you and the incredible journey of fatherhood. May your day be filled with love, joy, and the recognition you truly deserve. Happy Father’s Day! 🌟

Justice: What Love Looks Like in Public In an era where the news often highlights division and discord, the profound words of Dr. Cornel West offer a beacon of hope and a clarion call to action: "Never forget that justice is what love looks like in public." This statement invites us to view justice not just as a legal or societal concept but as the embodiment of love in our collective actions, policies, and interactions. It challenges us to manifest love visibly and tangibly in the public sphere. Love, in this context, is more than an emotion; it's a principle guiding us to seek the best for others. It involves advocating for policies that protect the vulnerable, standing against injustices, and working towards a society where equality is not merely an ideal but a lived reality. The emphasis on the public aspect of love in Dr. West's quote highlights our shared responsibility. It suggests that justice requires more than private goodwill; it necessitates public expression. This perspective prompts us to reflect on whether our public institutions, urban designs, laws, and daily interactions with one another reflect compassion and equity. To embrace justice as the public expression of love, Dr. Cornel West urges us towards courage and commitment. This involves: Advocating for Fair Policies: Supporting laws and initiatives that foster equality and protect everyone's rights. Standing in Solidarity: Engaging with movements and causes that confront injustice, lending our voices and presence to amplify the demand for change. Practicing Compassion: Making the principles of love and justice a part of our daily interactions. Whether through volunteer work, community engagement, or simple acts of kindness, each effort contributes to a more equitable society. Dr. Cornel West's compelling assertion that "Never forget that justice is what love looks like in public" serves as a powerful reminder that at the core of justice lies a profound and radical act of love. This love, boldly expressed in our public lives, has the power to transform our communities. Let us be inspired to act with love and justice, creating a world where these principles are not just aspired to but are a visible, living reality in our public spaces and institutions. Let's show some Love. Happy Valentine's Day! #DEI #EmpoweringInclusion #WeAreBillionStrong

A Hero in the Eyes of His Children Last Sunday, families around the world celebrated Father’s Day. It’s a day that always makes me think deeply. You see, I lost my father when I was young. I didn't get to spend much time with him. His absence has been a profound part of my life. Now, as a father myself, I often reflect on what it means to be a good dad. Being a father is more than just a role. It's about being a hero to our kids. But being a hero isn't always about grand gestures. It's about the choices we make every day. How we treat our wives, sisters, and daughters leaves a lasting impression on our children. They learn about respect and love by watching us. The way we interact with people from humble backgrounds teaches our children about empathy and the value of every individual. Our actions speak louder than words. As fathers, we have the power to shape the minds and hearts of our children. Let’s be the kind of heroes who lead by example, with respect, compassion, and integrity. Happy (belated) Father’s Day to all the dads out there. P.S. What's one lesson you’ve learned from your father? Share in the comments below. #FathersDay #SoftwareDevelopment #growth #success #worklifebalance

#happyfathersday #happyparentsday Father's Day is a day to celebrate fathers and father figures! Here's why it's significant: Shows Appreciation: It's a chance to express gratitude and love for fathers and the important role they play in our lives. This can be for biological dads, stepdads, grandfathers, uncles, or any male caregiver who has been influential. Strengthens Bonds: Father's Day is a time to connect and strengthen the bond between fathers and children (or other loved ones). Spending quality time together, giving gifts, or simply saying "thanks" can make a big difference. Recognizes Influence: Fathers play a vital role in shaping who we become. This day acknowledges their sacrifices, guidance, and support in helping us grow. Overall, Father's Day is a special occasion to celebrate the fathers in our lives and the positive impact they have on us

Real dads are always there for their kids, offering support and love every step of the way. They are present through the highs and lows, providing guidance and a sense of security. These fathers take an active role in their children's lives, helping them grow and develop with encouragement and care. True fatherhood goes beyond biological ties; it’s about being a reliable source of support and inspiration. This is what a healthy father and daughter relationship looks like, and it’s something to celebrate, especially during Pride Month. Be like him 👇🏼
