There are so many advantages with blended cements, so it is good to hear this is a priority at PCA. Preblended and pretested, a good idea. For the ready mixer, it could free up a silo for more total cement storage. https://lnkd.in/e29Uafnz

Heidelberg Materials is pleased to announce that their Delta, BC, cement plant has recently switched to producing 100% EcoCem® portland limestone cement (PLC). EcoCem®PLC is a portland limestone cement that contains up to 15% limestone and generates approximately 10% less CO₂ than other portland cements.
