Beer remains the most popular adult beverage in America, according to an annual poll conducted by Gallup. For those of us who make a living in the beer industry, that's the good news. The flip side, though, is that beer shipments from brewers to distributors are at a 25-year low and some consumer segments are moving away from beer. But non alcoholic beers definitely weren't mainstream! With a recent $50M raise, Athletic Brewing took their valuation to $800m to fuel increased production and retail expansion.
