Unless climate change education is integrated into the existing curriculum, educators will be resistant due to already full-packed school schedules and pressures.

Evolving school community partnership and integrating climate change actions in all levels of school curriculum and entire adult education courses are the foundation to nurture responsible generation that care for people and nature. This in fact needs good governance, adequate resourcing, accountability, inclusive, particularly integrating climate education in human rights approach.

I learnt today just how much energy there is around adapting education in a way that it can better support climate change action and adaptation. So much motivation and determination in this room - it needs to be fed and mobilised!

Implement simple systems to track progress towards climate goals and SDGs and use data and evidence to inform and adjust policies and programs. Give these tools to students, schools, teachers, and businesses to measure their progress and contributions.
