Green jobs with green skills. It’s great to see an article on this that emphasises how important geography education is for young people in preparing young people for this rapidly growing sector. We now need to be more specific as to what those green skills are and make sure they are being targeted effectively. Well done to the GA for highlighting the demand.
'The development of young peoples’ green skills now needs a national-scale, mission-driven approach' GA Chief Executive, Steve Brace, has written a piece on Schools Week on green skills and Geography. This article demonstrates the important role geography plays in the curriculum and why Labour must put sustainability at the heart of its opportunity mission.
