Potássio do Brasil, a full subsidiary of Brazil Potash, has renewed its partnership with the State Secretariat of Rural Production to benefit the Amazon. Company President Adriano Espeschit met with Secretary Daniel Borges to discuss a Technical Cooperation Agreement to benefit the communities where the Autazes Potash Project will be established. With the start of construction, Potássio do Brasil is fulfilling various socio-economic and environmental requirements and initiating projects that will enhance mineral exploration, create jobs, and generate income for the local population, among other benefits. It's important to note that one of Potássio do Brasil's commitments is acquiring land for economically viable crops. These topics were central to the meeting and are expected to be formalized in a document to promote development in the communities and Mura indigenous villages in the region. Great news! I think, it makes more sense for the Country to be more open on FDI such as Agriculture. Yeah, I can understand that it could sound boring unlike the Tech. But that's the fundamental of human needs. Tourism in Brunei makes headlines these days. I don't think it is the first day, that any of Tourism being debated - how to and where to. I would say, in any kind of plan/push, it is very critical and so so so important that The Top need to be committed, dedicated. Results, most of the time, need time and consistency input/followup, to become something and then to be become the vision. Brunei always has a lot of potential, but it is the challenges with the Key People, their consistency and dedication, their willpower. You have to believe it, to drive it into something. Anything is not easy, and so does Life. The layback culture of Brunei, or I would say the most Borneo - make such even slightly harder to achieve. Never say, it is not possible. We see High-Tech Agriculture works in Brunei, such as the Melons. And they are expanding.

It has the world’s biggest reserves of silver, as well as Latin America’s largest reserves of gold, lead and zinc. For its part, the Amazon basin possesses large reserves of oil and natural gas, as well as abundant forestry resources. The Peruvian government continues to implement measures to reduce bureaucratic barriers to investment, encourage the formalization of small businesses and stimulate capital investment in infrastructure. Today, Peru enjoys trade agreements with the world’s leading economies, including the United States, China and the European Union. It is also a member of trade blocs, including the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum (APEC), or Pacific Alliance. Peruvian culture is the gradual blending of Amerindian cultures with European and African ethnic groups. The ethnic diversity and rugged geography of Peru allowed diverse traditions and customs to co-exist. BRAZIL - This week, I was in the city of Montes Claros to discuss management and governance with the members of the Aroeira Honey from Northern Minas Geographical Indication (GI). This remarkable honey, rich in polyphenols, is the result of the region's unique natural conditions combined with the know-how developed by over 2,000 small-scale beekeepers over the past few decades. To ensure that the GI generates the desired positive impacts on the lives of these beekeepers and the families living in this territory, CODEA-NM, the management body of the Aroeira Honey GI, must strengthen its structure and enhance its capacities to fully implement the GI. Aware of this challenge, World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO, INPI Brasil - Instituto Nacional da Propriedade Industrial , and Sebrae-MG have invited CIRAD and UMR INNOVATION INRAE / CIRAD / INSTITUT AGRO to collaborate with the members of the value chain in co-creating solutions aimed at improving the management and governance of the GI. The first steps were taken this week, with value chain representatives from various towns in the region, the institutions mentioned earlier, and several local and national partners.
