It feels quite obvious that by LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games huge leaps will be made in the convergence of sport and entertainment. Makes me wonder if there will be competition between the Hollywood studios on who can make their IP part of the show. Warner Bros. Discovery seems to be in a great position for that, being a major broadcast partner. What I hope to see more of in top of Hollywood entertainment is the involvement of the creator world. I mean Snoop Dogg and Tom Cruise are nice to see, but not so relevant for youth. If the International Olympic Committee – IOC wants to address youth properly, they need to make the usage of creators a major pillar too. Some good experiments with that from Tokyo2020 and Paris2024, now LA28 has to make it a core pillar.
