We are delighted to be able to share our complete presentation of the work submitted to the SCMR Mid Term Meeting in Chicago 2025 on the topic of Heart Failure. We present the usefulness of Hemodynamic Forces to avoid hospitalizations for Heart Failure analyzed by applying HDF (Hemodynamic Forces) with conventional cardiac resonance sequences applying ventricular Feature tracking Strain. The pace of clinical evidence development for MR-Linac Tx is stunning. It has been developing faster than any prior Rad Onc technical innovation. The first-in-man for MR-Linac was just 8 years ago! At least two reasons for this extraordinary pace: (1) There is lots of powerful clinical information in those MR images. (2) The field of Radiation Oncology is just getting better at the task of clinical evidence development. Kudos to leaders like: Arjun Sahgal, Jay Detsky and team from Sunnybrook!

♤ Our 2nd Xeno Patient Abstract shows "FIRST-EVER OBSERVED CONCURRENT HUMAN AND PIG XENOGRAFT HEART ATRIAL ACTIVITY ON POST CARDIAC XENOTRANSPLANT" ♤ Our 2nd worldwide Xenotransplanted Heart patient Post cardiac XT,12 lead ECG Demonstrated Dual P waves, showing two sources of atrial activity. ♤ Novel pig in human cardiac XT with biatrial anastomosis allowed the first-ever detection of simultaneous human and animal cardiac rhythms. The biatrial anastomosis prevented conduction of the human P wave into the porcine AV node. Post-op factors likely explain the slower porcine than the human atrial rate. https://lnkd.in/eaGPB-vA

Did you know that the Doppler Flow Velocity System can help assess stenosis severity in TAC models? At Smith Cardiovascular Research, we utilized this non-invasive technique on C57B6 mice to measure blood flow reduction in the left carotid artery. By analyzing at least four pulses, we obtained accurate data for further analysis. In this study, I analyze the changes in carotid diameter during carotid pulsation and its impact in the development of carotid artery disease.
