Hello everyone, CK here. Today, I'm excited to kick off a 30-day journey where we'll dive deep into the art of community building. As the Co-founder of Grull.work and having built communities, I've seen firsthand how powerful communities can drive growth and innovation. Community building isn't just about gathering people; it's about creating spaces where ideas flourish and relationships deepen. It's about understanding and leveraging shared interests to foster a sense of belonging and purpose. Throughout my career, from leading initiatives at Fino.Club to driving community strategies at Platter Finance, I've learned that the heart of community building lies in genuine connections. It's about creating an environment where every member feels valued and heard. This series will cover everything from leveraging technology for engagement to nurturing trust in digital spaces. We'll explore strategies, share insights, and discuss the challenges and triumphs of building vibrant, thriving communities. Join me on this journey, share your experiences, and let's learn together how to build communities that are not just groups of people, but families of thought leaders and innovators. #CommunityBuilding #LeadershipJourney

Career insights + Resiliency | Emerging Tech Hub Ecosystem Builder | Women in Business Awardee | prev: corporate innovation
Jan 21-25: Call-to-Action, Charlotte // What can happen when the most ambitious people get together in one room? This is a call to action for all community builders, aspiring and new, professionals of all kinds. I founded Collective Drive to spark a pipeline of disruption and ideas here in QC. With CD (the biggest networking and career growth conference in Charlotte) just days away, I'd like to offer all the builders a platform. If you have brought people together in any type of way to help them further their work, Use Collective Drive to amplify your mission, your work, your community. We don't have enough down + dirty, launch before it's perfect, scrappy mentality here. Use this last week before the event to figure out what you want to achieve, and let's make it happen with the most ambitious people in this city. This has been the throughline of my career, from 4 years ago running Charlotte Innovation Week to running Innovation at Truist, to now with The 2.0 Collective + Collective Drive. With the right environment and support, what will we do with our ambition? Let's find out. Tag someone who could use amplification. #charlotte #collectivedrive __ Btw - if you'd like to come, here is a code for this community: COMMUNITY2.0 https://lnkd.in/gr5aVaNh If you'd like to come but can't swing a ticket, help us by volunteering and you'll get an all-access pass for the week: tinyurl.com/cdvol24.

Disrupting the status bro through startups, community & brand. Former founder turned VC. Future ghost.
A conversation with the amazing Milly Tamati sparked a some reflection on a pattern I've seen emerge with the waxing and waning of community in the startup and entrepreneurial world. I'm calling it "community by convenience". Scores of founders and leaders doubled down on community as a business strategy from 2020-2023, mobilizing their networks to create growth spikes based on existing and aspirational relationships. People want to do things for people they value! And people are motivated to do things to get proximity to people they admire (or at the least, are degrees closer to the social and/or financial capital they want for themselves). Where are many of those purported community builders now? When was the last time they participated in the communities they touted bringing together? If the answer is something like 'I don't know'...they were likely building a community by convenience. Convenience to their short-term goals. Convenience to what's trending or what they think they should be doing to attract investors or talent or customers. And sometimes, convenience to their ego. Strategic pivots happen. That's natural! And if you tried a real community angle and it didn't work, thats great learning! But community by convenience isn't it. It's a hollow way to build, and most times, a not great way to use people.

digital marketing, and social media management, creating vibrant online communities and fostering genuine connections.
### Introducing Always Beek1nd KC: A 501(c)(3) Organization **Mission Statement** Always Beek1nd KC is dedicated to more than just technology; it’s about community, connection, and creating a brighter future for America. By providing new tech, we aim to bring families closer, helping parents and children bond and understand each other better. Keeping kids engaged and busy with technology can keep them out of trouble, fostering a safer and more connected community. Ultimately, we are paving pathways to a brighter future in the tech industry for America’s youth. **Our Name Explained** - **Always**: Represents a habit or a consistent way of doing things. We believe in always being there, always giving back, and always caring. - **Beek1nd**: - **Bee**: Just like bees protect and serve their communities by pollinating, we aim to spread love and support within our communities. Bee also stands as an acronym for the initials of my daughters, emphasizing the personal connection and inspiration behind our mission. - **k1nd**: Pronounced as "kind," it reminds us to show kindness everywhere we go. You never know how a small gesture can change someone's life. The number "1" replaces the "i" to highlight the importance of self-care, mental health, and well-being. Taking care of yourself allows you to better care for others. **Our Values** - **Community**: Building stronger bonds within our community is at the heart of what we do. Kansas City, our hometown, is the starting point of our mission. - **Connection**: Using technology as a tool to bring families together and keep children engaged and safe. - **Future**: Providing pathways for youth to enter and excel in the tech industry, ensuring a brighter future for them and for America. **Personal Story** The spirit of Always Beek1nd KC is deeply rooted in personal experience. My background in customer service and chauffeuring, though not making me rich in material wealth, has made me rich in love and talent at heart. My journey of helping others with empathy and compassion has shaped the ethos of Always Beek1nd KC. Kansas City, the heart of America, is where my kids grew up, and I hope to see our community come together and expand this mission across the state and beyond. Together, we can make a difference by always being kind, giving back, and supporting one another. Join us in our mission to create a more connected, caring, and technologically advanced future for our children and our community.

Ideas are not worth a dime. Another competitor is copying the keywords and ideas, and again, we are just getting started at Growth Valley Community . We are feeling nostalgic here. The mindset of giving education and enabling kids' lives to maximize their potential cannot be stolen. It's ingrained in you. Creating a community is just a phrase if empathy is not there for the kids. The pain is not shared. Education is not transactional. Get that ingrained. That's what we do at Growth Valley Community: Changing the ecosystem from local to global and changing the mindset of being a follower to being a builder. Again, at GVC, Education is not transactional here. It comes with a mission and vision.

Feeling stuck in a cycle that doesn’t work for you? I get it. I’ve watched too many people in their 40s and 50s just getting by, working hard—even when they're sick or recovering from surgery—just to make ends meet. 😤 I knew this wasn’t the life I wanted. I grew up moving between Boston and Oregon, struggling with school and falling into substance abuse. I overdosed twice and even died twice. Years later, I found myself homeless, living on the streets, and trying to find a way out. That’s when I found the Legacy Builder Program. It's not just another program; it’s a community, a plan, and a chance to build something that matters. I’ve seen it help people break free from the grind, gain financial freedom, and get their lives back. If you're ready to break out of the cycle and find a path to a better life, check out the Legacy Builder Program. 👉 [Link in Bio] — Let’s build something lasting together! 🚀 And remember, if you sign up and don’t see my email within 5 minutes, check your spam or promotions folder! #FinancialFreedom #PassiveIncome #EntrepreneurLife
