Sales & Marketing Leader | 27+ Years in Building Materials & Construction | Expertise in Channel Management, Strategic Planning & Pan-India Leadership | Driving Growth Through Innovation & Market Insight
Friends Organizations of present India or MNC should always understand that real stories like below where the concerned companies were a mode of help and support and were a channel to motivation to see the techie complete his course and get better job despite being laid off. The great gesture of the techie is equally appreciated as he remembers friend in need and doesn't fail to remember the tough times and thank the Organization which helped him bail out as also he stayed motivated and determined. Whenever a lay off is because of unplanned appointments it speaks low of the concerned Organization and Top Management especially the owners because the Organization is neither far sighted nor is the Organization equipped with best or even reasonably good HR. HR is an extremely important Department which can many a times be a reason to success for any Organization be it a sinking Organization as well because correct selection as per need and protection of such talent is a must do affair HR Department should never be viewed as a appointment or releasing Department rather first a motivator and then a friend supportand ladder 🪜 to success for Organization and employees. https://lnkd.in/gYmaby79

✨ Talent Acquisition Strategies: Insights from Flipkart's HR Expert ✨ Had a fantastic time at the #Talent #Acquisition #Strategies #session, where we gained valuable insights from #Flipkart's #HR #Expert. Grateful to Abhay Sharma for sharing Flipkart's unique practices with us. Here are some key takeaways: 🎯 Job Portals: Flipkart utilizes iimjobs.com and hirist.tech for tech hiring, along with platforms like Naukri.com. They also engage with ex-employees, known as Ex-Flipters, and approach competitors for talent. 🎯 Interview Competency: Candidates are evaluated based on specific competencies, and interview analysis results are shared with them. This transparency enhances the candidate experience. 🎯 Preventing Backout Candidates: Flipkart provides a clear one-year roadmap and benefits plan to new hires, reducing the rate of candidate withdrawals. For instance, if Minakshi joins Flipkart, she receives a tailored one-year plan outlining her journey and benefits. Excited to incorporate these strategies into our talent acquisition efforts! Big thanks to The Shape of Work for hosting the session and providing us with invaluable current market insights! #TalentAcquisition #RecruitmentStrategies #HRInsights

🚀 #The #Human #Element: #Workforce Challenges and Solutions in #India’s #SupplyChain 🚀 In the dynamic world of supply chains, technology and innovation often steal the spotlight. However, the #backbone of any #supplychain remains its #workforce. In India, the human element presents unique challenges and opportunities that are crucial for the sector’s #growth and #efficiency. 🔍 #Labor Issues and #Skill Gaps: India’s supply chain sector faces significant challenges, including a shortage of skilled workers. Many roles require specialized training, yet there is a gap between industry needs and available skills. This mismatch can lead to inefficiencies and increased operational costs. 💡 #Training and #Development: Programs to bridge this gap, companies are investing in comprehensive training and development programs. Initiatives such as on-the-job training, certification courses, and partnerships with educational institutions are helping to equip workers with the necessary skills. These programs not only enhance productivity but also boost employee morale and retention. 🌍 Workforce #Diversity and #Inclusion: Diversity and inclusion are becoming focal points in the supply chain industry. Companies are recognizing the value of diverse perspectives and are actively working to create inclusive workplaces. This shift is not only socially responsible but also drives innovation and problem-solving. 🛡️ #Health and #Safety Concerns: The well-being of the workforce is paramount. Ensuring safe working conditions, especially in warehouses and logistics, is a priority. Companies are implementing stringent health and safety protocols, providing protective gear, and conducting regular safety drills to minimize risks. 🤖 #Technological #Integration: The integration of technology in supply chain operations is transforming the workforce landscape. Automation and AI are taking over repetitive tasks, allowing workers to focus on more strategic roles. This shift requires continuous upskilling to keep pace with technological advancements. 📈 Several Indian companies are leading the way in addressing workforce challenges. For instance, Delhivery has partnered with #educational #institutions to create tailored training programs, significantly reducing the skill gap. Flipkart has launched a Supply Chain Operations #Academy, offering courses in various aspects of supply chain management. Mahindra Logistics has implemented policies to increase #genderdiversity within their workforce, resulting in a more inclusive and productive work environment. Jombay HR 40under40 Award 2023 | Pioneering HR Leader of the Year 2024 | Emerging Women Leader Award 2024 | HR Leaders of India Award 2024 | Transforming recruitment through data driven strategies | #vatsalainsights
#mymentoringmoment with Krishna Raghavan during the Jombay “Workplace of Winners” conference. It was an enriching interaction on HR transformation and your journey at Flipkart. A key takeaway from this discussion was while we envision what the end result should look like, it’s also important to carve out what each milestone would look like and it’s related impacts. As a young HR professional, it was indeed insightful to receive your inputs on career transformation for the journey ahead. An important learning that stuck to me was: Sometimes we get shortsighted with what we want to achieve as a function instead of considering the larger context involving the business and organization dynamics. A special shout-out to Vinay Mishra for sharing your insights during the discussion as well. #jombay #humanresources #hr30under30 #hr40under40 #vatsalainsights

Customer Success Manager | 8+ Years in Client Retention, Account Management & Revenue Growth | Skilled in Cross-Selling, CRM, and Team Leadership | Driving Satisfaction & Business Expansion Across Industries
❌️❌️ The Dark Reality of Recruitment Process in India ❌️❌️ An unemployed man from Bengaluru recently took an unconventional approach by delivering his resume inside a box of pastries to startups, dressed as a Zomato delivery agent. His note read, “Most resumes end up in the trash, but mine will end up in your belly.” This creative gesture speaks volumes about the current recruitment landscape. With 90% of rejections attributed to ATS systems, many qualified candidates are filtered out before even reaching human eyes. The result? HR teams, relying heavily on automation, often overlook the potential talent right in front of them. It’s time to rethink recruitment and put the ‘human’ back in Human Resources. #HiringChallenges #RecruitmentReality #ATSRejections #JobSearch #OpenToWork ##JobSeeker #HR #helpinghands #Indiajobs #remotejobs #jobhunt #hiring

HUMAN CONNECTIONS MATTER This is what we are learning from day one in a Business School. In a world where AI is rapidly transforming industries, the human touch in recruitment remains irreplaceable.🤝 I read in an article today: Companies across sectors are opting for ‘human centric hiring’ for the majority of their hiring processes. One of the leading food delivery company, Zomato mentioned in it’s article, “You can’t apply to Zomato; you have to be found by Zomato.” It indicates that zomato hires on a referral system from their own team, thereby, highlighting the importance of human connections. One more example to support the point: US software company Intuit says, “ One in three employees in the workforce are through referrals”. Through employee referrals, businesses not only enhance the recruitment experience but also strengthen their employer branding, attracting top tier talent.
