📣 What happens once the service validation of technologies developed by IMAGINE is done? 📋 WP11 aims at integrating new bioimaging tools, instruments and methods for their user access readiness in common infrastructure workflows across facilities associated with Euro-BioImaging ERIC, Instruct ERIC and EMBRC - European Marine Biological Resource Centre ERIC, as well as the infrastructure partners of European interest ESRF - The European Synchrotron and EMBL, with a focus on correlative methods. Furthermore, it will explore the links of the project partners with other existing ERICs and RIs external to the consortium. 🤝 The work package is led by Euro-BioImaging. Additional partners include ESRF, Instruct ERIC, EMBRC ERIC, and EMBL. 🌐 Read more about IMAGINE's validation and service integration here: https://lnkd.in/e2ai-Yyb

Curious about the IMAGINE - Horizon Europe project 🔬 ? The mission of the IMAGINE consortium is to develop the technologies needed to bridge the molecular scale of structure with the organismal scale of function and to bring those technologies not only to highly specialised central facilities & standard laboratory models, but make them applicable to a wide range of samples and through the Research Infrastructures make them available to all researchers. All the technologies targeted for development within IMAGINE, specifically with their application to the imaging of biological samples, are part of the Euro-BioImaging technology framework. Accordingly, #EuroBioImaging will play a central role in providing input to the developments, support the validation of the technologies, and through our Nodes make the developed tools accessible.

Exciting days ahead, at the "Science for Policy in Europe Conference," organized by the European Commission! Thrilled to be part of the conversation about the vital role science policy plays in shaping our future. Thanks to the Young Section of the Polish Chemical Society and European Young Chemists' Network (EYCN), I'm proud to be part of the young European chemists community. Science policy bridges the gap between research and real-world impact. Let's collaborate and advocate for evidence-based policies to address our challenges. 🌍💡 #ScienceForPolicy #YoungEuropeanChemists #EYCN #SciencePolicy #Europe #SMPTChem #YSPCS

LECO Sales Engineer | Elemental Determination | Metallography | Thermal Analysis in the Southeastern US
My budding scientist joined me for the last hour of the AOAC Southern Section meeting this afternoon! She was able to see her Mom in action, be introduced to scientific conferences, and even collect some fun giveaway items 🍬🖊 I am grateful for the opportunity to represent LECO while sharing my passion for science with this impressionable little girl. She asked if she could go to another conference someday and I can't wait to see the impact she'll make in the industry. 💕 #leco #aoac #poster #combustionanalysis #carbon #girlsinstem 👋 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘕𝘰𝘵𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘯 𝘛𝘰𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘖𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘤 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘣𝘰𝘯 𝘥𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘷𝘪𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯🔥

Last week I gave an oral presentation at the #BES2024 "XXVIII International Symposium on Bioelectrochemistry and Bioenergetics" in Alcalà de Henares, presenting results from MIC-RICE Project (PID2019-111572RB-I00) led by IRTA, regarding the bioelectrochemical characterization of fungal melanin and its potential interactions with Geobacter sulfurreducens. The study was performed in collaboration with Dr. Abraham Esteve Núñez (Bioe Group) and Antonio Berná Galiano (IMDEA Agua), and was entitled "Characterization of DHN-Melanin from Exophiala mesophila and Electrochemical Interactions with Geobacter sulfurreducens". It highlighted the bioelectrochemical properties of fungal melanin from Exophiala mesophila and its synergistic interaction with Geobacter sulfurreducens. The interaction between Geobacter sulfurreducens and melanin's quinone/semiquinones/hydroquinone functional groups was suggested as the main electron transfer process.
