Job seekers, do whatever you can do to learn more about a company's culture. Here are a few more questions I encourage my clients to ask in interviews and as part of their networking efforts. 1. When was the last time you were happy about something at work, and what was it? 2. What's different about working here than anywhere else you've worked? 3. What's your favorite office tradition? 4. How has the company changed since you joined? 5. How are people held accountable when they don't behave consistently with the company's values? 6. Who is respected here, and why? The key is to read between the lines, watch the interviewer's body language, and see how quickly a genuine answer comes to mind. Reach out for more interviewing and career advice!

Before the pandemic, you could get a feel of a prospective employer by observing the office environment. Today your networking is how you’ll obtain truthful answers on how your prospective employer operates. One good question to ask in the interview: "When someone drops the ball on a project, how does your team handle that?"
