I think shippers are facing many unique challenges today. While cost and speed remain vital factors, they must now also consider the environmental impact of their actions. ♻💚 We talk about this and the current state of air cargo conditions here: https://lnkd.in/e8RJXV4p We learned that the carrier’s overall environmental sustainability practices were the most critical aspect (34%) that companies consider, followed by the carbon footprint of the shipping mode (30%). What this shows is that shippers are prioritizing the environmental impacts of their transportation partners. As this trend continues to grow, I believe only better can come from it as it encourages governments, companies, and consumers to think and act green.
