The Govan-Partick Bridge will open soon, reconnecting the historic link between these Glasgow communities, and this video shows some final installation and testing and how the Bridge will look when in operation.
So glad to be part of this with Team DEMAKO! We are responsible for the full MEICA scope. Big thanks to Farrans Construction and Glasgow City Council for the trust and cooperation.
You can’t NOT like that! We in the east have the new-ish Queensferry Crossing. You now have this beautifully designed, beautifully functional and aesthetically pleasing bridge. I’m sure it could have been just another bridge but it’s a swing bridge. Why? BECAUSE WE CAN.🎉
This is so cool, a few of us proposed bridges here when we did the transport museum project at uni. Mine had trams running from Govan subway station up to Byre's road
A fantastic project that will connect communities - it was great to visit in May with CIHT Northern Ireland
This will be amazing for ththe community- I often get the refrew ferry as it’s such a great service
Done some of the site investigation for this project.
…👍!🙏😊🏴
Is this the end for the Govan ferry?
