From the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC): “Diverse perspectives and backgrounds in the health professions — spanning classrooms, labs, and clinical settings — enriches the educational experiences of all medical and health professions students and the teaching experiences of faculty. Diversity, including racial and ethnic diversity, is essential to improving the overall health of our nation. In fact, diversity cultivates an innovation mindset, catalyzes creativity and discovery, and enhances complex problem-solving, prediction, and forecasting.” Our Talent Garden youth summits and summer internship program inspires youth of color to pursue healthcare careers. It moves us in the right direction to improve outcomes for #BlackMaternalHealth and lessen health disparities in marginalized communities. #healthequity #BlackMaternalHealthWeek https://lnkd.in/g6zJ-C5n

🌟 Join us as we highlight our past intern experiences! 🌟 Meet Mansi Patel, one of our exceptional Medical Research/Editorial interns from the Summer of 2023. Currently pursuing Neuroscience at the University of Texas at Austin, Mansi is set to graduate in 2026. 🌟 See what she had to say below or head to our website for more for the full testimonial! Link in bio. #interntestimonials #medicalresearch #berkeleypharmatech “Being able to interact with scientific experts and peers motivated to advance medical research for the benefit of society is something I will forever be grateful for. When determined minds come together, the outcome is beyond imaginable! Collaboration and teamwork were at the core of this internship. Being able to understand exactly how the community and medical research field intersect through research projects was truly inspiring! Unlike traditional research internships, BPT truly emphasizes individualized growth, allowing for students to grow their scientific skills by working on projects that they are interested in without feeling obligated to one task or another! Yes, I would recommend this internship to others! BPT's emphasis on collaboration and inclusion of diversity truly brings you more than the traditional scientific skills one would hope to gain! Rating: 10/10”

Chiropractic, a passion that sits close to the heart for reasons such as this… Primary Contact… and Chiropractic both are at the forefront of my clinical practice. The importance of primary contact health has become evident through this case. The importanace of effective communication and clinical judgement was highlighted here. Not only was this a critical case in my learning and development as a clinical intern, but a valuable lesson I will continue to reflect on for the rest of my career. #aecc #internship #aeccrehabilitationservices https://lnkd.in/eXTZpSz2

Marketing Intern at MJH Life Sciences I Fourth-Year Telecommunications student at Pennsylvania State University with a minor in Digitial Media Trends and Analytics
At the end of the day today, I will have completed the first two weeks of my summer internship at MJH Life Sciences®! These past two weeks have been nothing short of amazing. Getting acclimated to a new schedule, company, and team is never easy. I have an amazing support cast around me that has made this transition seamless in all aspects. On our first day of training, me and my fellow interns were asked an eye-opening question. What is your why? Why do you do what you do? What gets you out of bed in the morning? There’s no simple answer to this question. When I first answered the question on day one, I said, “My why is pushing to be the best version of myself to positively impact the people around me.” While this is still a driving factor for me, I came to realize there is so much more to it. After seeing just how many individuals MJH impacts on a daily basis, I understood what is most important. My why is playing my part in improving healthcare around the world. There is always room to improve healthcare, and I work hard to ensure I am doing all that I can to do so. I am a marketing intern under the Industry Science’s and Healthcare sides of MJH. We are responsible for over 15 different brands that deliver important medical and scientific information to thousands of industry professionals. Over my two weeks I have been tasked with promoting industry webcasts, updating digital issue alerts for our brands publications, working on social media posts, lead generation reporting, and so much more. Being a part of two different sides of the business has allowed me to expand my horizons and appreciate teamwork between our two sections. Communication and collaboration are essential in my day-to-day efforts to improve healthcare all around the world. Being surrounded by industry professionals daily, I take every chance I get to ask questions, give my thoughts and input, and receive advice to sharpen my personal skills. Before I started my internship with MJH, I had just completed my third year at Penn State University. Penn State has it all: A diehard fanbase, the best network in the world, and incredible academic programs. Being a part of Penn State is like being a part of a family. Penn State’s culture is second to none. Throughout my time at this university, I have done so much. Between taking courses to advance my knowledge, joining extracurricular clubs to get involved, and joining a fraternity to improve my values, the Penn State experience has made me a better person, and prepared me for life in the professional world. I have one year left at Penn State. I plan to soak up every last drop that it has to offer. I have done so much there, and yet have done nothing at the same time. So much untapped potential that I cannot wait to get back and explore. Between my time at Penn State, and this amazing summer internship program, I have the building blocks for a wonderful professional career!
