Among many services, GHL connects healthcare leaders with medical and healthcare administration students to build a network of like-minded individuals changing the global healthcare landscape. Additionally, GHL provides internship and volunteer opportunities to provide essential medical services in developing countries with individuals in extreme poverty that have no access to healthcare services.

    Student Spotlight: Celebrating Adrian Vahamaki 🎓 Meet Adrian Vahamaki, a dedicated pre-med student at Case Western Reserve University, majoring in Neuroscience with a Pre-Med focus. Adrian is passionate about medical research and is leveraging his diverse experiences to make impactful contributions to healthcare. 🌟📚 As a Student Research Assistant at Meru Health, Adrian conducted pioneering research on digital cognitive behavioral therapy for depression and anxiety. His expertise in scientific writing, literature reviews, and mental health research is extensive. 🧠📄 Adrian also uses music as a therapeutic tool. As a member of the Ragazzi Boys Chorus, he served as a Choral Scholar and Baritone Section Lead, performing at prestigious venues worldwide and completing a master class with Professor Gerald Wirth. 🎶🌍 Committed to community service and mentorship, Adrian leads initiatives supporting adolescent mental health at Meru Health and was an active member of the Gunn High School Sailing Team. His experience spans medical science, cultural competency, and scientific research. 🚤🤝 To deepen his understanding of medicine, Adrian completed a year of classes at a medical school in Spain, gaining valuable insights into global healthcare practices and medical education. 🌍🩺

    Student Spotlight: Celebrating Our Aspiring Pediatric Emergency Physician 🎓 Meet Bella Hoins, a 4th-year undergraduate student at the University of Florida majoring in Psychology - Behavior Analysis on the Pre-Medicine track. She is also minoring in Deaf and Hearing Sciences & Health Disparities in Society. 🌟📚 Bella dreams of becoming a pediatric emergency physician, dedicated to serving underprivileged communities. She enjoys traveling, exercising, volunteering, and spending time with loved ones. 🌍🏃♀️🤝 We are proud to support Bella on her journey and look forward to her future contributions in the field of healthcare. 🌟🏥
