Are you standing out? You hear often the importance of personal branding and adding that personal touch. Do you think any of these flowers care about standing out? Actually, yes they will do, the tallest will get the most sunshine, the biggest root will drink the most rain. The biggest flower will attract the most bees. So, it is important to stand out, how? 1) Share your opinions or ideas with others 2) Advance your career by asking some of the best workers, what they are doing? Tech career in Tokyo 🗼 My quick thoughts after 5 years. The Good * Daily life does not require Japanese skill. * There are foreigner-friendly companies (including FAANG). * Salary is not as good as in Silicon Valley but can lead a comfortable life. The Bad * Job opportunities are limited without Japanese skill. * Long working hours if you are from Europe or Australia.
